where are your tyres wearing ? on the inside ? do the wheels look like they are at the same angle? or are they leaning ? it does sound like camber you can put a spirit level on the wheel to see if they have similar angles, also check after a run the one disc is nt hotter than the other does it pull all the time or only when braking measure from the centre of the wheel to the arch on each side this will tell you if the coilovers are set the same

no mate , you should be fine , might be worth dropping some fresh top mounts in while your doing the swop tho

if its on full or nearly full lock its almost certainly an outer CV, it will make a metallic clicking knocking sound lowering a car will alter the angle of the driveshafts, the escort cossies can only be lowered so far before the driveshafts will pop out when on full lock the CV race is under a lot of strain as it becomes very tight so any wear will show up as the noise clunking in a straight line can be lots of things but dont discount the inner CV's as these can knock in a straight line if its a one off clunk its more likely to be something like eg subframe moving as it takes up the stress, or a front spring re positioning etc the drive shaft weights can be removed and as they have no affect but these can work loose and knock

water plate guides as kev says , if you tilt the roof open and compare the guides each side , the passenger side will have wider tracks (worn), so rather than being held down it starts to rise too soon
-
if its clunking on full lock then it most likely a CV (most likely an outer (cv kit = £60) prob just a shade over £100 inc labour if it clunks when you turn left the its probably the right outer CV but it will clunk clunk clunk as you turn the top mounts (donuts and bearings) inc vat are £40 from the stealers

undulating mate :-) but nope , no problems with the 90mm
-
a bit ott for my taste , i like the black esp with silver , its an excellent contrast
-
my c is a daily driver , no mate just the usual slow down for sleeping policemen, otherwise the 90mm is no problem (i really dont like the 50mm) i dont know the heights as i vernier from a point at the bottom of the shock to level them kev i can see your point of view but you need to play about to get a happy medium between the appearance and ride comfort with coilovers
-
i'm running a 90mm front spoiler, there are some pics on page3 in my gallery (link below) of different ride heights i tried
-
approx 80mm arch sits just above the tyre

thanks to daves16v for the short shift kit 8)

when you say sticks out do you mean the whole wheel ? are you sure it isnt the camber of that wheel ? does the wheel look straight (vertical) ? put a spirit level on each wheel to see if they have similar angles, incorrect camber can make a wheel look like it sticks out more this could cause your wobble and will make the steering feel heavier than it should, uneven tyre wear etc the 1cm adjustment is where your strut bolts to the hub, this is used to set the camber (you can also get thinner vag bolts to further correct the camber for lowered cars, if needed) i'd get the tracking done for starters

billinjahg60, short shift or VT mount ?
-
check the tyres arent egged
