    i'm not bashing them mate, i just feel they need some organising , i dont think anyone would like to see the end of the ccgb.... but maybe communication would be the key to their success

    i havent used it but i know a few people who swear by some stuff called wynns hydraulic valve treatment http://www.wynns.be/Products/Products/P ... raulic.htm a mate went to the garage due to noisy tappets and the mechanic suggested this stuff, he said it immediately went quiet when he added it , since then a few others i know have used it , sell it in halfords THIS IS NOT AN ENGINE FLUSH

    yeah when you turn the ignition on and lift the bonnet you can hear the cooling pump

    strange car the VR , it doesnt feel fast but when you look at the speedo or look in the mirror at the car you just left behind , it is !

    got rid of the ugly door pins today and fitted flashing led's 8) the flashing led's were from maplins £1.99 each also reversed the + and - on the tweeters to phase them ...sound much better (or is it my imagination :oops: )

    yeah the golfs arent very popular esp the mk1's and black is probably the worst colour, plus it hasnt got a stereo so that'll drop the price and people prefer bigger miles than that so that they are properly run in i'd put it up for £500 and expect to get £350 ish i'll pick it up in an hour :-)
