Good ehh   Not sure who the lucky guy is - my ex is a bit of a nympho   One of my m8's stayed at her house one night & has polaroids to prove it too   Hope she doesn't read this forum

Moving house to Sutton Coldfield next Friday/Saturday. Got a house sorted now - going to look at it tomorrow morning, at the request of the estate agents. Not sure why - even if I don't like it, there's no time to look for another. :x The springs that I have are for the G60 anyway - different to the VR

Check yer email m8

I've got a box of GS&F (40mm) lowering springs here - next to my desk. Haven't got around to fitting them yet though :? Wish I'd not bought them now - could get them much cheaper when I move to their head office next weekend
-
Similar VR engine as fitted to the Mercedes V280 people carrier too
-
Just order them for the KR engine m8. We (GS&F) only stock 1 type for the 1.8-16v.
-
Your dealer must be fairly stupid !! AFAIK - there was only 1 engine type ever fitted to the 1.8-16v - code KR

or Kev :?

I could be wrong (wouldn't be the first time) - I'm just remembering a conversation that I had with VW a month ago.

I'm just remembering a conversation that I had with VW when I thought my hall sender was knackered. From memory - the early type hall sender is available seperately but the later type is integral to the distributor.
-
AFAIK - there is 2 types of dizzy fitted to the G60 !! Late G60's have a different dizzy fitted.
-
Nice looking car m8 - welcome to the forum
-
Not sure if G60 system would fit - this maybe worth a look - http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?p=97446

I'm surprised it reached 103,000 miles before blowing. Mine had done 79,000 when I had it done & even then there was slight scroll damage !!

Wouldn't be without my cone induction kit - noise is great :D

Scott has the latest type of Yoko's fitted, which are supposed to be far better than the earlier ones. Yokohama tyres in general (with the alleged exception of the latest AVS Sport) are totaly sh1te. The same goes for Nankang, Marshall, etc. If you're running standard wheels/tyres then go for something like Pirelli P6000. Larger wheels prefer Eagle F1's, Continental Sport Contact's or even Bridgestone S03's. Toyo Proxies are supposed to be quite good but have a fairly soft compound & tend to wear quicker.
-
I'm changing my wheels this year anyway & I think I've found some that I actually like :D Gonna get a set of these & have them coated in Black - to match my paintwork
-
Yup - just checked their website - much cheaper at GS&F m8
-
Prices sound about average to me. Try http://gsfcarparts.com/ haven't looked for exhausts on there but they should be cheap.

Definitely Howard Jones

Could even be one or more of the 4 allen screws (no 10) is not seated properly ? Like H100VW (Gavin) & Henny (Ian) have said - the stretch bolt in crank (no 11) should be replaced for the non-stretch type - be sure to order the big thick washer that goes with it though
