  1. Found a good picture from when I disassembled the engine. I think that's just it!
  2. The more I look at your picture, the more I think that's just it mate, 99% sure!
  3. I just checked mine "the new one" when compared to the the old one, it's identical. Is yours this part number? One thing comes in my mind. It's hard to tell from the angle of your picture but did you slide the rubber holder all the way OVER the black plastic part? Because it should not sit on the metal part, only the side where it connects "facing up" that the rubber holder is on the metal part of the aux pump. Sorry, I don't if you follow me with my explanation? I can take a picture of it if you want, it's in a bag all assembled. You can see on my picture where I got both pumps, on the old one, you can observe the mark left by the rubber holder. It's all the way over the plastic part. Would be nice if it was just that! Cheers
  4. That steering wheel looks amazing! I did this as well on mine, funny is that I imported the dye from the UK! Ended up nice! I've heard/read that sunroof seal us the pita to install... So don't feel it's just you 😉 About that Bosch aux water pump, that's too bad about the design change. I'll have to look in my parts bin if I have the same thing now... I've seen companies making the ring that holds it in billet, maybe just one would hold it and you could get rid of the top one if you're not happy? I wonder if the leak you had was because the inlet/outlet of the GSF was thinner than the Bosch? https://momentummotorparts.com/collections/cooling-system-components https://www.gruvenparts.com/auxiliary-water-pump-bracket/

    ISV/IAC valve

That's not has good deal I got but pretty good I'll say for an NLA part. Keep me posted with your progress! Cheers

    Strut bar?

This is pretty nice, price is right too. Makes me think of the Neuspeed model I really like that's NLA. They also ship internationally, I'll ask them how much. Drilling to install rivers I'm ok with that I think. Thanks Keyo for the links

    Strut bar?

Wow 10 years already! I bet you didn't expect that!

    Strut bar?

That's my story, always too late for group buys! It looks fantastic! So you had one? On which car?

    Strut bar?

This one is only the top portion though, I would like the whole kit like in the picture with the MK2!

    Strut bar?

Ya, I feel you that's why I'm very interested by the Trimsport. The K shape is really nice. My fav so far! I wonder if they still make it I'll contact them! Cheers

    Strut bar?

Wow that sounds very very promising! I will sure give them a try and see what they say. Do you have one Keyo?

    Strut bar?

I agree with you, that's what I think as well. Good to know for the Eibach!
  13. ABV-VR6

    Strut bar?

That's smart because I can imagine it is a pain to check fluids with the bar in place. That Eibach bar looks amazing!

    Strut bar?

Thanks Keyo, I'll look into it and that omp is pretty nice as well! That's what I read as well, mk2 16v works not mk3.

    Strut bar?

Thanks to both of you! Kind of confirms my thoughts so I appreciate it. Like dragon green said, I also read that sway bars are more noticeable in the ride, then rear strut and front strut last. Keyo, I wonder about the rear towers as well on the Corrado? I'll look into it. I kept my oem front sway bar and will pair it with a rear H&R sway bar. I ordered it, not received yet. As for strut bar, other than Weichers I can't find anything new. I wouldn't mind a used Eibach but like it's been said they are hard to find. Then again, is it really worth it? That's kind of the discussion I wanted to bring.

    Strut bar?

I'm just curious to have you guys point of view on that. I think sway bars are important and solidify the Corrado's body at the right place. I've read a front strut bar on a Corrado is not as useful since the towers are pretty close to the firewall. What are your thoughts on that? Do you have one? What kind? Cheers!

    ISV/IAC valve

Ya unfortunately I see that my seller is now out... He had 3 when I bought it, someone else is reading my post 😉. I'll say £200 is still better than NLA... I found this one for £115 https://www.ebay.ca/itm/Volkswagen-Idle-Air-Control-Valve-BOSCH-0280140551-NEW-OEM-VW-/132560378126?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l6249&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0 BTW I bought another one different brand from Germany, got also 8.2 Ohms so they all have this and not between 10 and 20 like Bentley says...
  18. Holy cow mate, that's quite a collection of beautiful parts you have! Very nice, can't wait to see all of it installed. Cheers
  19. I remember doing the heater control, it was scary, brittle plastic! Looks good though! I need to replace my antenna as well... I can't believe they charged £800 just to change the matrix and they didn't clean up the box, really??

    ISV/IAC valve

As you can see on the pictures mate, 100% de same. Same size, same plug etc... You have the part number on the picture. Get it while you can ill say!
  21. Not from what I've heard but I never did it. With the integration kit, it goes bolt on. You need transmission and axle and 02J shifter conversion I think. Only downside of that bullet proof transmission is that it's heavy...
  22. Oh nice some have them in the UK as well! I had to import it as well since I live in Canada. They're definitely good mate!
  23. Mines not OEM anymore either. There's a company that is the bench mark in aftermarket exhaust system here (techtonics) and they offer stainless or aluminized (I think) versions. I went for the non stainless, 2 res, oem cat, Borla stainless muffler.

    ISV/IAC valve

Well that's what I was thinking too, I though I found the holy grail but no interests lol So I ordered one, it's exactly the same 100%. I'll say get them while they're still a few NOS left on ebay. Not expensive either, paid about the equivalent of £90 shipped. Here's where it goes deeper in the rabbit hole. I have 3 IAC here, one that I know for sure worked flawlessly. So the reason for me to look into that was that in the Bentley it says that it should have between 10 and 20 Ohms. Mine had 8.6 I think so it made me question it... I looked into the other one of unknown condition and very similar results... Ordered NOS one, shows up, guess what, same! So now I have 3 IAC with all similar values. Perplexed by this I went on the Canadian FB group. About 5 guys tested theirs and they all had similar results, none of them had values between 10 and 20 Ohms like described in the Bentley. I'd like to point out that one of them was a brand new Corrado specific Bosch and also scored 8 point something... The conclusion is there's an error in the Bentley which apparently according to a VW tech happens more than we think. Just look at the variations between the Bentley MK3 or Passat B3 and Corrado for the same thing... That's where it's at! Unfortunately my engine is not installed yet so I can't test it. But according to the old thread I found on CCC, the guy who first did this a long time ago it worked flawlessly.
  25. I think that's a very good way to see this, good decision. I'm pretty sure I've seen in the past NOS cat on ebay from that seller in Latvia but it was pricey! I went with a standard exhaust system over stainless as well, heard you get drone with stainless steel. I know it won't last as long but it was also 1/2 the cost. Plus I won't drive the car in the rain anyway... Keep us posted!
