Is that the same as this one owned by Practical Perf. Car?

How have you secured your sub box/amps down
Neil VR6 replied to Son of a Beesting's topic in ICE 'n' Secure
I used Rok Straps which were fantastic to hold my sub in place: http://www.rokstraps.com/speakerbox.html Huets in West Sussex supplied them -
Tuning the G is all about the torque ;) It's nice to just queeze the throttle without changing gear and feeling the pull. There's a G60 tuning article which covers the basic in the Knowledge Base (written by me  )

I reckon 99% of peeps on here would go for H&R over Pi anytime. I had Pi springs on my Saxo VTR many moons ago and they very far too low and far too soft. Seemed like more of a "fashion" spring than something which would actually sharpen up and improve handling.

Whereabouts is your biting point?
-
lol. The only purpose is to stop the air getting to the terminals and reacting so any sticky grease will do I'd imagine.
-
That worked for me too!

Don't sell your Corrado
-
No matter how much you polish it, it's still a Vauxhall. I wonder if he knows that?

jedi-knight83. Thanks to you I've just wasted an hour of my Friday afternoon at work looking through this post at the cars you've been working on! Some awesome transformations! What baffles me is how you choose what products to use. I've often thought about starting up a business like this and getting some kind of qualification but haven't had the guts. Top work! I forwarded your website onto my old man who's got a '62 Alfa Guilia which underwent a full body resto a few years back ;)

Is this why some tatty Mk2's sometimes seem to be "dragging their @rses"?
-
I don't know what it's like but generally speaking if it's an "open" filter then don't bother with it. However, if you'd rather have sound at the expense of performance; go for it!

Most VW's seem to have good standard induction. If you want to lavish some money on your G then an oil cooler would be a good place to start if you haven't already done so.
-
I getcha, I suppose a Corrado's bonnet leading edge is somewhat of a stone magnet
-
Hi Andy, I'm liking the black and yellow leathers, very cool! Not so keen on bonnet bras though ;)

Looks like a nice bit of kit. I live very near to Alltech in Southborough. What are they like? Do then know Corrado's quite well? -
108's fine. No probs. You only worry because it sounds high and most other cars don't have this functionailty to monitor oil temp. Once you get going again and air starts to flow over the cooler the temps will soon fall. :)

It should sound a bit like a Flymo (as per sig)! Stage 4 denotes porting of the charger casing to smooth airflow. They are a bit muffled with standard induction but there's no mistaking the noise!

I used No More Nails double sided sticky pads and they work well. As has been said though, I used white spirit to make sure the surfaces were super clean.

I'd value AC extremely highly as it makes the car so much more usable in the summer. I'm not a fan of having windows open at speed so I'd pay more for it. SOme prefer having windows open and listening to the engine more though

Great entertainment. I loved it. TG's the last bastion for non-PCness and it's all the better for it.

Surrey rolling road is good- I went to a RR day there with the SXOC. They've got fantastic premises now- a huge hanger type place where they used to test ammunition on an MOD site. It's right hear the junction between the M25 and the M3. http://www.surreyrollingroad.co.uk/

Help needed! Changed coolant on my C, now have fountain?!

Wasn't there a recall on the black caps? -
Can't you get the tyre repaired? I've had a couple repaired and it only costs about £15. Providing the hole in the tyre is small and neat they can bung it up good as new.

Although in the medium future I'd imagine scarity will drive prices right up given how sought after they are but VW fans in particular. I wonder if they might sell stuff like their casts to another company to keep them in production. Their brand has got to be worth something too.
