chargecooler or intercooler on Vr6 Supercharged
StormchargedVR6 replied to ANTIHERO's topic in Engine Bay
Kev how you work that out, got the battery & Exhaust the other side :? Have you felt how heavy that tank + pump is with 3 gallons of water in it? Your battery in relation to that is nothing, especially as it's a little 15lb Braille! And only the back box is on the passenger side and isn't very heavy. The rest is down the middle of the car. As I say, it's just my own pickiness, not the end of the world :D OK kev, my battery is 21lb and there my bass box & speaker  have you added an additional washer tank? or just pull over every now and then with some windowlene :D Don't need washer tank  -
Looking good Dave, you just need the New KW ARB now. There Yellow

This is the 3 gallon tank from Schimmel , this set up works a treat as kev already said water tank.JPG[/attachment:3htydz4p] -
Heres Dyno plot at stealth with Charger & schrick , you see the Torque ramp up to 3.5k and make 250lbft then drops off little and then the charger kicking in but only makes 260lbft @ 5168 Thats with 10psi You will make more with 12psi ,but you will never make great torque with a charger This is why i've gone Turbo :D schrick+charger.JPG[/attachment:3hrpwq24]

That is a stunning car, with a Turbo be 8) Did Karl get it
-
I first ran the charger with the schrick , you get more low down torque with both. you really feel the schrick open at 3k :D DSCF0091.JPG[/attachment:hksyn1n0]

I've got a really old school "tin" of turtle wax from the 80s still :D I'm going to setup and Detailing Museum. A retrospective of the good old days of simply bunging something on the paint and rubbing it off again. Give it another 10 years and you'll be able to buy Detailing robots, which you can program to do all manner of anal cleaning and buffing tasks, and sit back and watch with a beer :D Kev you don't bung wax on, you should take some pride in Waxing your car :) Still have a Beer doing it :norty:

Ok Guys, its GT3076R which i think will be big enough for what i want :) Its a 3'' down pipe and 3'' system with single box for max flow, the guys at JKM have been out in it and its not to bad. It took them a while to get the system rite, but there no banging on the rear beam or booming, there work is top class . All v-band too Got bosch inline 044 pump and swirl pot going in pic below, so fuel system be good for 500bhp DSCF2448.JPG[/attachment:1anwiop4]
