  1. Little bump? what happened? Looks good, did u get the bird shit stains sorted as well?
  2. So if I used 15mm spacers it would take it to ET35, I think standard on a vr is ET42. Not sure what the offset was on the optional 16" wheels though.
  3. Not a lot in it then, this is looking promising. Im thinking something like this, refurbed non gold: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 11357&rd=1
  4. No idea. With the offsets is a higher number pushing the wheel in or out the way? With spacers fitted would the centre bore even make a difference?
  5. Theres lots of cheap 16" subaru wheels going about ebay and the likes, some of them pretty decent looking speedlines. (Once repainted non gold). There 5x100, offset of ET50, centre bore of 56.1 Will they fit? Im thinking they would need a spacer, but not too sure on how the offsets work. If they do need a spacer, are there ones where they bolt on to the hub, then have studs sticking out of them so that I wouldnt need to mess about with longer bolts and it would make the wheels easier for getting on and off?
  6. tbh I only get the games to try them out, if I like them I buy them, if not ill delete it. Downloading just saves having to get it from Blockbuster for a night. I know what your saying about it being made for xbox live, but I really dont see it beating pgr2 for that.
  7. Dunno but im sure I seen somewhere that you can bleed them but need to have vagcom plugged in and change something to open all the valves.
  8. Nope, its ok and worth playing, but I wouldnt pay for it.
  9. Yup, its called a corrado slc, but its rated at 190bhp. Gear ratios seem a bit short, changing to third at 55mph. 8) Just added coilovers, arb's and a limited slip diff. :)
  10. Just got this and it seems good so far, not quite so much of a simulater as gran turismo on first impressions, somewhere between that and project gotham. But its got a Corrado slc in it, just working on unlocking it now. 8)
  11. I reckon its still a g60, check out the wanted ad: http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic. ... highlight= Im pretty sure Struan sold his white g60 so would likely be for this car. So probably a g60, last one was a lot of top end power but in an earlier post struan mentions how torquey the car is, so I reckon its a similar spec to Hennys with the larger capacity.
  12. Still a 4 cylinder, JMR engine mounts quoted, John Mitchell does a solid front mount for the 4 cylinder cars. Still waiting for the vr6 one.
  13. Have you tried starting the engine with the abs disabled? I know the pedal on mine is fairly soft (though not as bad as yours sounds) but if I disconnect an abs sensor its solid.
  14. Ill give the Autoglym stuff a go, dont mind having to reapply it every few weeks but I hate it when it leaves streaks down the side of the car after it rains.
  15. Cool, I thought it would be as simple as that but had to check.
  16. So whats decent? Tried stuff like back to black in the past, looks good to start with, then runs down the bodywork the next time the car gets wet...
  17. When just about the only thing attached to the block is the crankshaft itself? Job for an airgun?
  18. Yesterday- Took apart my old knackered engine then cleaned the car and put the interior back in after it had been stripped for the track over 2 months ago.
  19. Trip to Elgin and back, mixture of roads and the odd bit of traffic, max speed of 75mph and only put the foot down once or twice to overtake, and once to get a leon cupra off my back, 400 miles total.... 38.9mpg. Still had about a quarter tank left.
  20. Just now id say second one, but if someone could p-shop the first one straight I may change my mind.
  21. Got my car back yesterday after having the engine replaced and its spot on, feels even better and more powerful than it did with the old engine. Its good to put the car into a garage and not have to worry that they dont know what there doing, if your not too far from Awesome and needing work done then I highly recommend them. Thanks to Gavin (H100VW) for recommending them to me in the first place as well.
  22. Nice one, where abouts is croft located? Might head along for a gander. 8)
  23. Are you sure its a peugot? Ive seen this vid before and was told it was a ford probe v6.
  24. Joe M

    VR6 weight?

Could the 190kg weight be with the gearbox still attached? The lighter the better as ive got one to stick in the back of a berlingo on saturday.
