Link doesnt work. :?

Was that the late golf vr6 setup then? Notice a decent improvement? Interested in this myself as I want better brakes with the standard speedlines.
-
Could try bleeding the system.
-
So really either head would do if it was ported and polished anyway.

How much will VW charge for new radiator?? (VR-Fitted)
Joe M replied to Ice White Socks's topic in Engine Bay
4. Probably ok, it dilutes with water but im not sure on the dilution ratio. If hed charged for the full capacity for coolant then worry. 5. Thats fine, bout the same as mine. -
How were the audi coupe calipers. I was considering them but heard there is some pad overlap that causes uneven wear. I dont like the sound of that. :?
-
Ill probably change them every 10k so might just go for the normal ones then.
-
Chris, is that also ure car in the first pic? Are you running different wheels back and front?
-
The best plugs are the standard or platinum ngk ones. I would also be interested in knowing what leads to get.
-
The main differences i know of are. Bigger displacement Different injection system that adds in a lambda sensor and an ecu (k-motronic as opposed to k-jetronic). More restrictive cylinder head. Apparently the C 2.0 16v is a better engine than the Golf 2.0 16v, its just less powerful. The best 16v from standard parts is supposed to be the block of a Corrado 2.0 16v, the cylinder head from a mk2 Golf 16v and the injection system from a mk3 Golf 16v. This is what I would have done to my 16v if I had kept it.
-
About 2800 for a standard one wheras the C came out about 1000 cheaper with mods declared. (1300 odd if it was standard.)
-
I totally respect them, like I said I looked at getting one but insurance killed that idea. Also looked at the newer shape 200sx as well as it runs the same engine but a good vr6 came up before a decent 200 so the C won. :D
-
Not to mention there pig ugly, and the interior is nasty. ps. This was a car I looked into getting before the vr but I couldnt afford the insurance.
-
The 2.0 16v would be the one I would go for, they can easily be made faster than the 1.8 by getting a cylinder head from a 1.8 16v and swapping it over. Will also provide peace of mind on a new car by having a new head gasket. There also much easier to drive about town as they have a decent amount of low end grunt.

But same calipers an stuff? I take it it would be 4 of the bolts required?
-
What was there on your old speakers? Mine had 9mm nut type things and a rubber washer on each post.
-
Just been out in the car and the doors have started rattling badly. I knew I would need dynamat or something but didnt realise how much I would need it. Is it best to get a sheet to cover the full door and replace the plastic membrane thing with it or just use one of the smaller sheets to cover the speaker area. One thing also puzzles me, most cars ive seen before the speaker screws to the door and not the doorcard. Has anyone tried mounting the speaker onto the door instead and what were the results?
-
Ill maybe check them out, do they fit straight in? How do the crossover things on the focals work? At the moment ive got the 3 way switch in the middle as I could notice a difference in the sound with this one but what does the other one do?
-
Not to mention I had the entire first series on my hard drive before it broke and I had to get a new one.
-
Yeah, heard that. Dont know if this is sad or cool but I still watch the original film occasionaly and a friend just bought the dvd.
-
Not decided on what to do with the rears yet. 1 of them was knackered so there disconnected anyway.
