forums are dangerous, more scaremoring with people not 100% clued up (inc me) I lurk on pistonheads, so know there are elements which can be frustrating. At the end of the day a good relationship with a mechanic/dealer seems to be enough unless the engine pops. Hopefully when I can afford one they will be more bulletproof. Cerbs can be had from around 15k upwards. Don't know if you remeber in evo Kev there was a 20k car test which the Cerb came second to an M5! worth a read as they knocked back an NSX, Escort Cossie etc etc in the end. i stood next to TVRs at the motorshows and the quality seemed good, how they stand up to daily driving I suppose is the key. Personally, I would want to use mine every day, not just ponce about at weekends!

-Neil-, give awesome gti a ring they fitted mine for £300 quid and they are having a Xmas sale (although this may be over) which means they will knock 10% off and not charge for fitting. There near Manchester, although the wrong side from Sheffield. Its not a million miles away tho... failing that get someone local to price match them! I've got no probs with mine, all I wanted was fit and forget doing the job 4 me!
-
not ignoring it, just aint done it! interested to see it tho!
-
Guys n Gals What is the difference between SLC bumper and UK spec (late) WRT to fitment? obvioulsly the US spec has the repeaters, otherwise are they exactly the same? no changes with the wings which would effect fitting onto a UK rado? anyone done it?
-
jesus christ! and I moan at £680 damn you body parts!
-
triggermyson, agreed the number plate recess is a winner thinking about coding as much as possible and smoothing (poss using US spec bumper) however am concerned that ice grey has too much variance in the colour to be suitably coded all over... anyone with a colour coded reiger grill could you post some pics? more colours the merrier!
-
no tan on any corrado mate grey/black/beige or the campaign model brickwork red (only 6 campaigns made tho) are your only choices. Can always get some tidy cloth retrimmed? good luck on whatever you decide!
-
nice to see there are some TVR fans on the forum can't wait to afford a Tuscan!
-
hrmm must have looked at an old picture of his motor then
-
anyone got any pics of Ice Grey colour matched rear number plate recess and also a reiger 3 slat grill?
-
let us know how you get one hopefully the TVR

the chimp is an ideal weekend car IMO, especially doing 5k a year. http://www.pistonheads.com have a great TVR forum with a Chimaera section, take a look. For 14k the others a too mainstream for maximum weekend thrills!

I wouldnt have missed with gun...
-
Radostormvr6, your rims using spacers mate, they look tight!
-
vrs more diff to mod but come with 190 bhp as standard g60 tunable as you know, older spec trim (not much different) personally I would go VR for a newer car... mind you G are getting cheaper, if you needed a rebuild you could always strap a lysholm on there!
-
powder coated black with diamond cut outers would look hard ;)
-
cheers guys I go and grab a pic tonight
-
give them the opportunity to own up without the presence of a copper if not bring in the feds! then piss in their petrol tank

sorry to hear about this... things could always be worse. Andrew -
with flux you will just fill in a modified vehicle report form. all it asks is make and model and who fitted............in which case a custom one would be who fitted it!
