    calling people jobsworth is great 8) there are the few that enjoy their job a little tooo much, same as bouncers.. the ones that weren't quite good/corrupt (delete as appropriate) enough to be police officers, but on the whole i think they're just doing a poor job for poor money. bless 'em.

    cool, good choice jim. i'm doing 400+ miles a week at the mo, so considering diesel. 6k is out of my price range but with fuel savings something similar could be achieveable. Will look forward to seeing how you get on with it.

    momo do wheels for the impreza and some alfas (among others im sure) i'm pretty certain these won't fit the standard boss. All non manu specific wheels will fit though.

    PhatVR6, see a good sleep helps! even if this takes until inters next year it'll be worth the wait.. (well for the rest of us ayway!) You could've just given the car to someone else to do and not had this stress, but you wouldn't get the same feeling as you will when this is running right. Good luck with the rest of project.

    wont be too much, £30-£50 probs. However, a direct line employee told me that if you did have an accident, and these mods were found, they wouldn't invalidate your policy, they would just charge you the extra before paying out on the claim. IMHO i would declare. insurance is 1 area where it's not worth cutting corners, just in case.

    i had the same problem with a sigma a couple of weeks ago.. never happened again since, so havn't looked into it further.

    bstrds! going back a couple of years a mate and me 'allegedly' caught a pikey stealing the wing mirrors of a S3. Car wasn't anything to do with us, but we 'allegedly' kicked the f**k out of him anyway. that'll learn 'em.
