  1. What have you got planned? off the lights: you lose. 0-60: you lose. 5 laps around a track... depends who's the better driver!
  2. I've also been busy in the boot, fitting carpeted MDF flooring. My old carpet was really grimey so something needed to be done! I cut and laid some 1½" thick foam (£17) to give a firm base, had a local carpenters shape a piece of MDF (£10) and covered that with acoustic carpet (£22) I also had enough carpet to recover the dodgy home made stealth shelf that came with the car. (not worthy of pics!) :)
  3. An update! Been busy with DIY. Fitted In-pro lights that finally arrived from January's group buy! I was unlucky they were so late, but as they say, better late then never!
  4. so how did that change from the old highway code?
  5. ahh, thats a shame mate, you'ld have looked proper ghandu in that mate!

  8. kevhaywire, thats cops mate! they were prob doing something more interesting, hence undercover. I saw a scooby get pulled by police in a fiat punto! was around norfolk, scooby caned past me down dual carrigeway, slowed for a roundabout and punto behind me put lights on, went round me and pulled him over. He had blue lights in the grille and at the back.

  10. Cried more about my broken engine. Then locked keys in car with engine running. Then cried more whilst phoning AA.
  11. Thanks Gav, i've checked GSF's website and the headgaskets are different. I've now been asked to check which cambelts etc to use so have started new thread with more relevant title! : http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=22481 Baz.
  12. Hi, Im in the process of converting my 1.8 to a 2.0 (9a short block) I'm keeping the 1.8 head and need to know: Which cambelt should be used, 1.8 or 2.0? Which head gasket should be used, 1.8 or 2.0? Can i use standard 1.8 cam pulleys? What degrees does the ignition timing need to be changed to? Thanks, Baz.
  13. Nothing but UK hip hop for me at the moment. Bought The documentry by The Game, but hardly played it. My bro's a DJ, and puts mix CD's together for me. Latest has Klashnikoff, Skinnyman, Aspects, Phi life cypher etc.. Last one had loads of old happy hardcore/D&B etc as he found all his old 90's records, but not my cup of tea!
  14. not my cup of tea, fitting M3 style today. Can understand people thinking imitation BMW etc, but i think theyre a lot better than standard!
  15. Slightly OT, but a car from bristol made the headlines for a congestion charge when it first started. Check this out!!: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/2803699.stm
  16. Audioscape should do you one for about the same.
  17. Tempest, my lights arrived today, but one is slightly broken. After waiting as long as i did, I'll fit them as they are. Thanks for organising the group buy, and chasing the german guy when needed! Will post pics asap, cars not running at the mo, so have plenty of time!

  22. Have done lots of searching on clubgti, and I will be going the 9A route. Can anyone confirm that i do need the 9A head gasket set? And if i'll need to do any engine management work (ignition timing etc..)? Thanks, Baz.
