  1. Most of us are in the UK bud, you'll have a lot better luck on vwvortex.. If you wanna pay my flights & a double double I'm more than happy to oblige though  :bonk:
  2. Are you going to the national day? I'd like these but you're too far as it stands..
  3. Simple answer: You're looking at painting 9 out of 12 panels. Do the lot. Reasoning: The back panel is relatively small and simple. Paint it. Leaving the roof will leave you with lines at the ends of the roof strips. Paint it. The tailgate will then be the only part left. Paint it. Sorry bud, but I couldn't recommend at all you go ahead with a 75% respray, you'll kick yourself further down the line.
  4. Going prices for a set of Recaros used to be £6-700 cloth £1000+ leather. Whilst the number of cars in general will decrease, popularity of the extras wont as they're also in high demand in the mk2 world. It does get to a point that it seems crazy to be [literally] sat on that much money though, so i sold my set.
  5. Damn!! Someone get these bought, I want them back!
  6. Wow, that's a price! They do still command high values, but personally I think cloths sub 1k.
  7. See my above post - if they are 8" wide they are no longer et33, its one or the other!
  8. You want the world don't you? I'd have thought selling 2k wheels from a poor Ebay link with bad picture and incorrect info would be enough to satisfy 'serious enquiries'?'
  9. Should also be in eBay section if there's no option to buy for a set price..
  10. 17x7.5 bud, unless they've had bigger lips, in which case they won't be et33..
  11. £300.. A bit more than scrap, but cheap enough for someone to bother to buy. Check on RRs as well, they'll know and be best port for selling.
  12. Dammit! if you decide you don't need them andy let me know
  13. ahhhhh killer! id never remove a dash without changing the matrix now. i did the matrix on mine [without the dash out], put everything back together and then discovered the heater control box was also broken. :mad2::mad::pale: 2nd time round I took the dash out - much easier option.
  14. If they are what you think, they will 'fit' with 25 front & 30 rear. I don't think they are and i'm prepared to be proved wrong. but it's not a major enough difference to worry about anyway. They will look better at the offsets i've provided, but thats personal preference.
  15. I'd always buy direct from classic parts for something obsolite, heritage are a joke price wise. Bonnet cable, new from dealer or TPS if you can. Not worth bothering with a used one that could/would be stretched IMO. Fluids/filters I'm happy with Gsf, although I use Tps far more than I should.
  16. Gah! I've never been that bothered about private plates, however when i had the first G60 I nearly bought G6 OBB. [G60 bristolbaron] I ended up buying coilovers or something at the time and then the plate was gone. Its now turned up on a G60 for sale on ebay - HERE and the guy's saying it was bought for £1500 and is now valued at £1750  Every other G6 O plate is available on DVLA for £399 HERE It's not really a bother, as I don't currently have a G60, however I'd have bought a Rallye for it to go on if I could've got it for the right price :bonk:
  17. sometimes i worry myself :ubergeek::study:
  18. Firstly, are you sure they're et58? I think they're ET65 in a 7.5 & ET52 in an 8. Nice sizes though and easy to work with. Personally I'd be looking to get to ET20 on the 7.5s & ET20-25 on the 8's. Find out exactly what you're looking at, and say how you want the car to look, how low it will be and if you're rolling the arches etc.
  19. Yeah not a lot to go on. Ill take them at asking price if they're 301s
  20. How about 7.5s & 9s staggered?
  21. Its from an Alfa Romeo 75 Milano. :bonk:
