  1. well...you're probebly best of waiting for an 'expert' rather than taking the village idiot's word for it....maybe its the 'newness' wearing in?
  2. Sounds like its fecked to me Chris surly? like you said the smell sorta indicates that it's burt itself out ? It never rains it pours dude.
  3. Well that's just daft. After cabbying for years where I only ever put a seatbelt on if I was on a long (( motorway )) fare I have to say that putting on a seatbelt is a very un-natural thing for me to do , but the Corrado got me into it easily due to the fact that as soon as you click it in you feel like you are attached to the car in the raddo for some reason. It seems to hold you in the seat properly in C's alot more than in all the other cars i've had
  4. nah the pump on a g60 (( uk at least )) is specific.
  5. The easiest way is to find somewhere you can get on. Otherwise I would raise the coilies slightly, it shouldn't need to be raised by too much.

    1.8 16v Clutch

Bonjour What possible causes are there for the clutch pedal to stick? Other than it getting caught on bits of the dash what are the possible reasons for this happening? Could it be as simple as the pedal needing a bit of grease? Cheers
  8. typical. Ah well, you didn't want the rattly old shed anyway mate.
  9. not being gay mate, but are you sure the car is using so much fuel?...as in is that just what the MFA says or have you also noticed it using loads of fuel. Could be a few things if it is running rich, lambda sensor for one.

  13. *cough* ..that was my impression of a dyslexic German...
  14. Hiya mate. Watched that raddo go on ebay and you paid less for that car than the seats are worth alone. I sold a set exactly the same for £850 recently, you got yourself a good buy. Vilcomen. :D
  15. I had 4 taken out of one side of my 8v, they have a tool that they tap away on next to the dink untill it dissapears, sometimes they don't need to get to the inside of the panel, they didn't on the rear quarter with mine. Make sure you use a firm that's recomended. The guys I used have a really good name localy and charged me £40 for the side...excellent value for money...worth it every time I looked at the car. I found dinks were like a spot on ur face...you always notice it far more than other's do becasue you look straight at it.
  16. Out of my 4 raddos 2 did have squeeky dashes, though I did manage to get to the bottom of what was causing the squeeks and sort them out both times, it can be as simple as tightening a couple of screws Something like that is perfect for using as a bartering tool..get yourself a few quid off the asking price and then sort it out with a small piece of card jammed in the right place !
  17. Unless you are a small child....or indeed Jeremy Beadle...

  19. I assume you know that they're screwed in the middle aswell..there's a hole in the slam panel that you can gt a screwdriver down... EDIT--ooop...beaten to it by the boss...
  20. Yeah , that'l be the striker arm, unfortunatley the car is now classified as un-economical to repair (( i.e right off )) Im sure El Guardia will have a field day watching you clamber into your car at 2am through the boot. PM daves16v for the repair kit

  22. Without doubt the worst area to get shiney after a good wash and wax is the bloody sunroof lining, everytime you wipe over it and put pressure on it you can a fresh smear on the roof...AHHHHH ..not that i've gotta worry about it anymore...
