Bonjour Im about to have a suspension kit put on my 'c' and im gonna replace the top mounts at the same time. Any advice as to which mounts to go for?...will VR6 mounts go on the G60?....is there a better mount to use? cheers. :D

yeah..the engine runs very smoothly, theres just a slight judder that feels like its on the bottom of the engine at tickover every 15 secs or so...a really slight one.. this coupled with the weird power steering goings on is a weird one....is the steering rack a possiblity?

why's that?..and what d'you reckon it could be then?

Ive been having problems with my PAS for ages, i got a new pump but before i fitted it the PAS re-appeared, but since it has been very noisey, it squeels at full lock, and last night i couldnt get it outta my parking space..the steering wheel was juddering and the pump was squeeling. at the same time ive also noticed a slight juddering/rattling from the bottom of the engine on tickover .... does this sound like my crank pulley's gone?...if so , how hard are they to change (( i.e how many hours ? ))

i've had no problem with solid engine mounts, but then i havent had one. im about to replace my front mount with a VAG part, its done the engine pround for the last 13 years, so i'm happy to replace it with another original. i have however had problems with my dishwasher of late...i'l have to replace her soon with a younger model.. :)

i had an A4 TDI (( 140bhp )) and loved it...maybe go for one of those mate?.

if your suspension isbouncy and lowered its gonna hit the ground mate, you need to stiffen it up!> :D

i'm not sure your figures are correct, but i do know that a fettled g40 is alot quicker off the mark than a fettled g60....g40's are ALOT of fun. :D

ive got more raddo bits than i know what to do with...and more tools than i know what to do with to...including some bloody big heavy ones i dont even know what are called or do! :oops:

...just to point out mate....going around taking pics from your car window outside school gates could get you into trouble nowadays!! :wink:
