Keep taking the pills mate! What's the weathewr like in your bubble today anyway? Never been left standing by any 16v Polo Roddy...and well you know it. its nice in my "bubble" but isn't that Polo 16v the fastest thing on 4 wheels up this way :?
-
  guilty as charged  .........though come on glen.......i 'm getting more mpg from the VR than you do from yer 16v when our cars meet   of course notice you don't mention a certain 16v Polo that always leaves ya standing
-
and not a single Corrado in amongst them either
-
i'm sure if you phone VW's customer relations dept. that they are obligated to tell you of any recalls that are applicable to your C
-

vr6storm replied to kuksool's topic in General Car Chat
well my breakdown(no pun intended ) of costs is as follows per month but not including servicing, mods or repairs which are pretty infrequent  Loan...........£10.5k over 4 years......£240 Insurance.......................................£60 Petrol............................................£120 -
yay......glad i'm not the only one who feels that way......makes ours feel a whole lot more special
-
i would budget for replacing a throttle cable in the near future then.........WD40 is only a short term cure for it......as it dries it out completely so it is then got no lubrication in it
-
i'll move this into the "inside your interior" section
-
if it just sounds squeaky from the footwell when the clutch pedal is depressed then all it is....is the plastic bit at the bottom of the dash getting slightly deformed and getting "flex'd" when the clutch pedal is depressesdi think from either too much heat or the recent cold weather........sounds totally weird but mine was squeaking like mad last year when we had a cold snap.....and thats what it was all down to :?
-
looking good furki!! 8) 8)

Green(i think) and white(well it was covered in snow )VR6 N**OTF in Cuparstone Court car-park must have been in there all day going by how much snow was on it.......aint seen it going about aberdeen before
-
there are ways and means round everything.......but even if you did this it wouldn't take too long to suss it out........by all means do what you want to do dazzy........but don't be surprised if you get banned from the forum.....(that is in no way meant as a threat btw  )you might get away with it but i think that we would be treating new members(ones that very quickly post up e-bay links)......suspiciously
-
all RHD UK spec VR6's have the rear centre armrest as standard as for pics of that interior i'm sure A20LEE on the forum should be able to give you an idea of what it looks like...........damn cool IMHO
-
and we told you that it is not allowed under the forum's trading guidelines to link to e-bay items etc that you are selling......ppl linking to cars/parts etc on e-bay that are not they're own or have no connection to the vendor in anyway is ok as this is just for info really.........all this as been on the go for quite some time and i find it strange that you have just noticed this
-
and he was linking to it from the forum  .........which is not allowed
-
because it was against the trading guidelines that are on each of the "sale sections".........the ones that people are supposed to read before posting etc ....and of course this thread is in the general car chat section too.......so its not really a "sale" section  these have been in place for quite some time btw............and i'm sorry if this is a problem but rules is rules etc
-
need a bit of modifaction.........cheesy on the forum has them on his.......tbh not keen on having BMW headlights on a VW

Are Corrado's the best looking affordable car ever?
vr6storm replied to PhatVR6's topic in General Car Chat
must admit to having a bit of a liking to the GTV......IMO the only thing that dates it is the rear light treatment  also quite like the mitsubushi FTO too for some bizarre reason :? as for the C i find it really amazing how for not much more than £1k these days that you can gain entry into a timeless classic -
LOVES Looks 8) grunt from VR  relative rarity  handling :) active spoiler 8) decent mpg from VR......believe me 23mpg round town from a 2.9i VR versus 18mpg from a 2.8i V6 XR4i is pretty decent has aged gracefully IMHO enthusiastic/cult following  HATES Parts prices  near useless "basic" Traction Control standard ride height  no 4WD option ppl saying its the scirocco replacement  thats all i can think off at the moment
-
spark plugs are set deep into the engine??
vr6storm replied to jedi-knight83's topic in Suppliers Forum
......and it is totally useless  ......its ok for taking the leads off.....but putting them back on with it the plastic "stretches" and so its near impossible to do properly.....whereas the Hazet tool makes it soooo simple
