manual everytime.............there's been at least 3 members on here who converted their Auto VR's to manual so i imagine they got tired of them...........also the auto box can stat being troublesome with higher miles and/or neglect

take a note of which lead goes where too.................and try and replace them 1 by 1

5 left and as you can imagine they v v v rarely come up for sale.........campaign(funnily owns a campaign).......paid buttons for his one but it had been neglected for a few years and had been for sale at a silly high price for over a year the only thing IMHO that spoils them is they all have the early dashboard etc

i would leave the colour coding to a minimum tbh...........red Corrados' really need the black trim to break up the redness of it as it is at the moment its looks the part

you checked to make sure the knobs are the right ones for the controls.........cos although they are identical looking on the face of them.........if you mix them up they won't work with any other control other than the control they are meant to work with(ie the heater speed one won't work properly if swapped with the temp heat setting etc etc)

ive never had a problem with them tbh...............in fact part of the reason I go to Inters is to grab bargains from their stall and the stuff they've sent up to me has been delivered within the timescale stated too

they'll be something like 55 or 53 IIRC tho IMO..........wide wheels on a C especially massively wide on the rear looks naff.....its not like you need them for traction with it being FWD is it

you can get them slightly cheaper from GPC.....tho you have to factor in PnP

pardon??? :D sorry yer caps lock is on which is the equivilent of shouting anyway the G/box ECU from memory doesn't have a memory function such as remembering differing driving styles by different ppl............its possibly just needing a new sensor or more simply a change in autobox fluid

its a known fact most VW techs hate anything to do with the Corrado.......hell even the parts guy at my local stealer hates them with a passion

not such a bad idea as regards oil............putting in cheaper stuff then running it for a short while then draining it off is seemingly better than using a flushing oil as regards coolant tho..........maybe just as well using plain water as the amount of time its likely to be in(provided your draining it within a day or two) is hardly likely to need the corrosion inhibiters and unless you stay north of the border you aint gonna need its anti-freeze properties either
