deffo sounds like a flat battery...........especially if its been sitting and while and been getting harder to start...........i flattened my 993's battery recently and it sounded like a machine gun while trying to start it...........it wouldn't even start with a jumper/starter job due to its size 3.6L and as the VR6 isn't too far behind size wise don't worry if it doesn't start with one of them

i drive 2.0 litre now thats does 22 mpg i can afford to run a porchse. and it wouldn't be so annoying but the car is being offered to me for 800 and theres nothing wrong with it shes had it since new and drives like a mum and has all the sales history you can see why im so eager to get it. living in the sticks would surely see a better mpg than 22mpg(unless your right foot is welded to the floor).......hell i get that round town in my VR6.........as for insurance........i take it your Focus is on a policy where your Dad is the policy holder and your a named driver on it?.......you do realise that if your insurance ever found out about that in the event of an accident that they can void your policy?????......especially if you are the main driver and not just an occasional driver on it......don't think that they'll just assume that it was one of the few times you were driving etc....they'll find out one way or another...................so best earn some of your OWN NCB so that you can afford to run a motor................by all means buy this Corrado but be prepared to get raped insurance wise on it............

mine just died at a round-a-bout a few years back and it turned out to be the fuel pump..............but a few months later it also cut out after parking up, this turned out to be a fuse under the driver side dash panel the relays and other fuses also turned out to be loose in their positions(same location)

Laugh Out Loud Campaign's are a very limited edition and very very rare as they were given to the top 6 Karmann product dealerships(only 1 per dealer) in the UK to co-incide with the launch of the Corrado VR6 in the UK in 1992.....they all are Dusty Mauve paint with a brick red/purpley full leather Recaro interior Storm's are again a UK special edition this time with 500 units(250 mystic blue/black leather and 250 classic green/beige leather BBS alloys and std seats) these were launched from April 1995 and were still for sale long after Corrado production ended

well Blue Joe.......it appears you are correct!!!.........spoke to someone who knows of these things and he told me they fit either side.........i think i was thinking of poor quality replicas that came out in the mid-90's that had the design "ar5e about face".....well thats my story and i'm sticking to it

a lot of Porsches have replica wheels on them especially the likes of Cup 3's.........
