  1. thats what i'm meaning tho.....the Silver Rose 944T's were out before the D90's were offered on the 944 so they wouldn't have been influenced by the D90's design.........
  2. other way about IIRC........silver rose 944T's came out in 88,Design 90's were 89/90>
  3. thats 2 of us then
  4. even if my 6 numbers came up..........i'd still be a Porsche man,Ferrari's just don't really do it for me but if i didn't have the C then it would be a toss-up between an UR-Quattro,190E 2.3-16,E-30 M3 or 944/968 btw good choice with the E-30 M3 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)
  5. basically you caused damage to her car so she has every right to seek that the damages are fixed by you.........as Furki says speak to those really in the know
  6. its private land in the sense that the local authority don't have an obligation to mend the road etc...............if your car was damaged in a main dealer's car park for example you would still be entitiled to seek that the damage is put right........you don't need to have insurance on private land btw,but as soon as you go onto the public road you do
  7. its private land but available to the public so to speak.................she didn't cause the damage you did so why should she be the one thats hit in the pocket.........just cos the damage on yours appear superficial doesn't mean it is on hers or even yours, tell her you need a couple of quotes to decide if its worth you paying yourself or letting your insurance co foot the bill
  8. its a business address so i'd imagine its private land, its not owned by the council/govt etc
  9. spoiler was obviously up then  :D :D :D :D
  10. my 993 is with AON(i think they are PCGB approved now too) and my 924S is with Carole Nash
  11. both my Porkers are on classic policies and i pay £285 for the 924S worth £2k and £530 on the 993 with an agreed value of £28k,both are on limited miles policies tho (3k and 5k respectively),my C is down as my main car and thats the only one that can get the NCD built up on.............the only thing tho is the last time i asked they wouldn't put my C under a classic policy as at the time it was under 10yo
  12. you started yer new job then??
  13. 8.9 secs is what Autocar achieved with their G60....which a month or two later funnily enough needed a new g/box............so basically a car with a faulty g/box gave those figs.............VW figs are normally spot on too btw
  14. ALL 2.0 16v's came with the cat IIRC
  15. the 2.0 16v will have slightly better fuel economy too,as the 1.8 really prefers leaded or premium U/L.......
  16. *cough* 160bhp *cough*.............US spec G60's IIRC only give 158bhp
  17. and unless your C is lowered its gonna look even more like its on stilts...........not even sure you can get 205/45's cheaply too
  18. the 10% IIRC is just a guideline............if you got a right t!t of a police force enforcing it they still can do you doing 33mph in a 30mph limit
  19. *cough* 944 S2 *cough* but full marks for the rest of the info :D
  20. check the ABS ecu.............its probably covered in green fur.........clean it up and then re-fit it............mine was doing much the same around this time last year
  21. welcome to the world of trying to extract power from the VR6 then :geek:
  22. 6.5J width on the solitudes but that wouldn't really affect the speedo...........its the profile(and gearing of course) that do........205/50's should be OK for a G60 it might just affect the speedo a tiny bit but nothing to be too concerned about
  23. should be OK Grim.............205/50's are VR6 std fitment
  24. i only put mine up manually to clean it these days.............when i first bought the car in 2001 i used to now and again leave it up at shows/meets etc
