Interesting...

Maybe a bit late James but I have Kev's old RH ZW1's I need to sell if interested?
-
Like that! Looks more factory than mine does anyway... having a 6sp box in a Corrado is awesome :-)

Yandards' 16VG60 - Running Report 23 Jul 15
Supercharged replied to Yandards's topic in Members Gallery
I think it's simply a Corrado or maybe MK3 VR6 item but sure Yan will confirm... -
Definitely not a VR6 alternator... It's go the seat for the mk3 Golf 4 Cyl tensioning spring.

Welcome to the forum! First off I'd be checking bulbs and fuses and also take a look at the wiring / plugs etc. Lots of stuff not working may indicate an earth fault (brown wires)
-
You might as well take it back and then pay a bit extra on top and get one of those lifetime ones...
-
Yeah they're pretty good, I've had one without reciept - I think if it's that new they can tell by looking at it... They don't do Bosch now though unfortunately but the ones they sell, Yuassa are the same as TPS now do and they also do a lifetime guaranteed one! If you need a Bosch S4 though, car parts for less sell them for around £36 (for an 063) with a discount code or even cheaper from Eurocarparts if you have a trade account - around £25!

I've just sent Nathan a link to this :-)

So nearly 100k miles later and the discs have started to judder and the 3rd set of pads have about 3mm left... I have some brand new discs but need to get them drilled - has anybody done this or got a link to anyone selling any? VW price for these is now 86.50+Vat each!! (I paid £29 from TPS!) I'll email Badger5 where I got the originals from I think but I know they were a 'one-off' Interestingly the discs are multi-fit so come with 9 holes - I think 2 are re-used with a brass bush (M14 to M12) so only 2 new holes needed per disc.

Good work mate, just need to get it to Stealth and on the rollers with a map change! -
Get yer self a copy of this - really good book! http://www.amazon.co.uk/Wood-Fire-Handbook-Vincent-Thurkettle/dp/1845336704/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top?ie=UTF8

That looks like a Yeoman as I have an EXE which has similar tudor roses on the windows, mines one of the biggest 5kW you can get so no air vent needed. We already had a kind of mock brick fireplace so no hearth needed but no actual chimney either so had to run a twin wall flue up and out (3 story house) via the family bathroom (involved me moving a rad and basin) Cost was £3.3k fitted (inc the burner) and we saved a bit of money using stainless pipe inside then back to powder-coated black outside to match the roof and guttering etc.

Welcome back - I wonder how many G60Jet's are still around?
-
It will need a brake fluid change at 3 years old...

Not US-Spec though, no clutch!

Looks great and reasonably priced :-)

Yes, you're best to just get a pair of later hoses to match IMO...
-
VR6 and Walesy! What year is this!?!
-
Ah.... of course that makes sense - always were more expensive with the loom attached unlike the fronts.
-
Odd they only sell in pairs but you're right as just looked on carparts4less... It's maybe because you have to take the seats out to fit them but tbh, I'd be tempted to fit both at the same time in terms of age / reliability etc, also some brands of sensor don't like being mixed.

Hi mate, Should be in the Bentley manual but I've not got it to hand... I would have a word with Darkside though as what they sell is for converting DMF's on TDI's back to a conventional setup...
