  1. Jim - it's £81 on Carparts4less and there is £10 off a £75 spend using a code on the front page!!

Lol, a manual choke on a Corrado!
  3. So what works and what doesn't??
  4. Annoyingly they're no longer on the VW accessories page... Should be cheaper from the dealer though than eBay sellers etc
  5. Is this Jim's old car?? What happened to it?? I had the manifold / valve cover sandblasted for him - still looks very good considering it was just over 5 years ago! He had brand new injectors from VW and new gaskets which came to over £200 when we built it back up so that price is a bargain! I remember nearly destroying a fence getting the old injectors out too :-)
  6. If its still using the original Corrado ABS then won't the R32 ABS needs to be coded out of the cluster if the clocks are being used?
  7. I'd try another laptop / diagnostic first as it maybe a driver / port latency issue... did it ever work / has the ECU been mapped?
  8. What!?! Buy a set of 6 then but obviously prices will be inflated for eBay...
  9. Just phone C&R or Goodridge direct, should be able to help you and I'd advise paying the extra for stainless fittings
  10. Droplink's broken and ripped the CV boot, very rusty under there so maybe time to refresh a few bits!
  11. ^ Thanks for the info, sounds like one to avoid!
  12. The MK6 is a lot better built than the MKV... I'd still have a MKV though but not for £7k, many people are having rust issues with the front wings now. The MK6 is superb, so solid and comfortable - I really struggle to fault it. For £11k you might find a cheap MK7 also...
  13. Nice one :-) Yeah, always go for the best quality / german branded stuff - some of the Chinese rubbish knocking about is shocking!
  14. You'll be ok... ... as long as you don't use the clutch :-)
  15. Is it one of the Silver painted ones?? If so they last 5 mins at best... Get a proper VW alloy one and take it back... of course if could also be the master that's failed maybe too. These are good - http://www.vwspares.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=1924
  16. Hmmm - I think you'll need a new column... They are meant to collapse in the event of an accident, hammering it has had the same effect - you're meant to use a 3-legged puller to remove the adapter!
  17. You got a picture of this - don't quite understand what it does??
  18. Yeah that's a worry but these cars are getting old now! Check the heatsheild is ok too!
  19. They look ok, best to get the wheel off and jack up so it's not compressed. Could be a broken spring or trackrod end / ball joint
