  1. Thanks for the offer Karl. Not sure how I am going to play it yet. To be honest though I am completely useless when it comes to spannering lol
  2. Awesome. Will be interested in the final power figures. The Stealth conversion was 273bhp on standard management.
  3. Im sure Koni will sell you one spring. If not just buy one new coilover.
  4. Very tidy. Stealth will be doing mine early next year all being well.
  5. Pete, Vince at stealth told me they fit a VR thermo housing to the engine then that sorts out most of the hose issues.
  6. I wouldnt touch an Alfa. The reliability is horrendous. My uncle had a 3.0 166 and the engine died at 75k.
  7. Front wings alone unpainted are about £300. Id let the insurance deal with it.
  8. Lol i didnt realise what a stir this would cause!
  9. not yet i'm afraid buddy, still on 312's - waiting for karl to sort his corrado out so he can come down to me so we can do the swap. if he doesn't get it sorted before i finish mine, then i'll drive mine up to him for the swap - hopefully know before long my friend! - apparently you need something like 13m spacers to run the brembos behind the RX's, which karl will be supplying with the brakes... will not be much clearance methinks! :D edit - karl was running the brembos behind 17" bbs RC's - should be more or less identical! Cheers. Something to be thinking about.
  10. Pete have you got your Brembos behind the RX yet? I have the same wheels and need to think about brakes.
  11. That would make it a seriously nice corrado. Im hoping so. I was going to get wide wheels and silly brakes with the charger install but now im going 32 will stay with the OEM look.
  12. Had a good chat with Vince today as he just finished a conversion using the factory management. Its looking like im gonna go R32. The one they just completed was with the MK5 parts. Apparently doing it with MK4 parts makes it a lot easier.
  13. The thought has been going through my mind about an R32 conversion instead of charging mine. By the time ive had head and chains job plus charger install with water injection and SP263's would it better just to put a newer engine in? Id want it running on standard management. Does anyone have any idea of cost? What parts would be needed other than the obvious like the engine? Would it all need to come from the same car?
  14. I enquired about some CH's once for mine only to be told they didnt do Corrado VR fitment??? They look awesome Zak.
  15. Vortech v9 stage 2. I bought the kit from Shaun on here. This will be going on along with SP 263's, water injection and a 6 branch with decat hopefully. Only problem is ill be loosing the RX's for something that will accomodate big brakes. I only use the car 6 months a year so it stays in tip top condition.
  16. Yes, probably the best silver Corrado ever! I hope people dont get too upset when the wheels get changed and the charger goes on lol
  17. I was going to say this too. I saw a VR at Stealth sounding like it was firing on five and this was the culprit.
  18. Im in Solihull. Drive a silver VR for the good 6 months of the year.
  19. Mines at work now in a hangar covered up. I just changed the oil before it went. I usually go down once a month and run it up to temp.
  20. A few people on here have done it. Try doing a search.
  21. I paid £1200 for my Vortech with only 850 miles of use. Came with everything except injectors,
  22. What causes bore scouring?
