What would a mint set with good tyres be worth?. They were refurbed before i got the car and were only fitted for about a month until i got my BBS.

I only ever use G3 if ive done loads of wet flatting or nibs on fresh paint. I try and avoid it if possible. My favourite compounds are Menzerna intensive and final finish. You really need a rotary or random orbital polisher for these though.

I had my speedlines on for a few days when i first got my car back out. I was quite surprised how much quicker it accelerated.

I like a mix of both. My Corrado is a pretty good example of this in my opinion.

Stealth supplied the rack which came via GSF. Didnt fancy paying the VAG price which was something ridiculous like £380 plus vat without any track rods.

Spent the day at Stealth yesterday having a complete front end steering/suspension overhaul. This lot consisted of new wishbones(powdercoated) and bushes, ball joints, ARB drop links, ARB bushes, Vibratechnics rear engine mount, standard gearbox mount, steering rack with track rods and ends. I also took along another subframe that was powdercoated which recieved new mounting bolts and wishbone bolts. A full four wheel alignment was carried out at the end. The car really does drive amazingly now. Far better than i hoped.

They are air hoses if i remember. I bought my set 2nd hand and they were missing.

Does anyone know the best place to go?. Stealth said they are about £300 over here.

Really not worth the hassle especially seeing all the work youve done. What you going to gain? A Storm badge. Wow lol.

I always recommend Stealth Racing 01926 812259. They do all the work on my Corrado and have a decent Beissparth wheel alignment machine. They will also be able to help you with anti roll bars. They are based in Southam, Warwickshire.

Nice car. Your MPG will soon plummet when you start driving locally. I thought mine was economical coming back from Preston :lol:

Cheers Gareth. Are you going to Stanford Hall? I have another subframe here thats being powdercoated. The new wishbones i am going to 2k paint as the bushes are already fitted so i didnt want to risk the blast from powdercoating messing them up. The front crossmember i will do another time as i havent managed to locate one yet. A complete rear refurb will also get done but that will be another time also.

Very true but its up to me to tell them of any extra bits i might want doing.

Im sure Vince told me there arent any? The frame bolts direct to the car.

All sorted on that front. I had a VT one fitted at last service.
