  2. Yes very nice, makes mine look sh1t Chris
  3. it's all gravy, and why are you so pro the V1 unit?? What difference does it make to you? I big power was the object you'd go for bigger higher output unit altogether that makes the V1 look week in comparisson, take a look at the specs on the Vortech site to see what i mean! Chris
  4. Why is it easy to see why 1 and 6 wear out first? I've had a problem with mine that makes fan speed 3 come on at 70C so the car runs cold so i have been running it with that dissconected, fixed now though. Chris
  5. they're just being nobd arguing for the sake of getting thier post count up! lol That'll make 'em bite Chris
  6. and it used to win in Top Trumps! Splendid car Chris
  7. didn't mean that silly He just flogged his Brembo's now he wants more, like i say, Why? Innit! Chris
  8. You're all waffling now lads, as i'm sure you all know by looking at the specs of the two chargers that they can both produce well over 500bhp so what's the worry? plus it's not the V1 or V2 that's available in this group buy so stop bickering! Chris
  9. Good point but it's more likely to be more than a tenner difference, i think it's just because i would like that kit to run with the charger but am so skint it'll never happen anyway :( Chris
  10. Just being price sensitive here but isn't there going to be anywhere cheaper than Stealth's prices? I know Vince knows the craik and will get the kit right but can you see where i'm coming from? Chris
  11. g-man, would one of those pics be of an actual real life rare Lancia Stratos!? Like this one: There were copies made of this full blooded rally car and "the way to tell a copy from the real thing is that the panels on the copy line up better!" Quoted from Jeremy Clarkson- Top Gear. Chris
  12. pm Chrishill as he was in contact with the supplier and should be agle to point you in the right direction with names and numbers of sort it out for you, either way you'll get them sorted! You'r car's going to be spot on with all these new bushes, mounts and stuff, what else you got planned? Chris
  13. I already have Powerflex puple thing on my VR but Chrishill got some, just needs them fitting now, thanks for the point though Chris
  14. 2mm! and you think that's close? I'm used to using a grinder to make a 1/4 of a mm clearence, living life on the edge, 2mm phaa, some ppl on here could get thier dick in that kind of space  Chris
  15. can't believe such a low turnout for these after what seemed a lot of interest. Chris
  16. Sorry to jump in here but i've taken more than my fair chare of them off and never broken or had one break on me Tom you heave handed lout! The best way to describe the torque is just a nip, you don't need to 'tighten' as you would a wheel nut, just be gentle and let the 'o' rings make the seal, treat them like a lady! is that a song? Chris
  17. they look like enough of a bargain, might bid on them myself now! Changing the suspension is a doddle, setting up the front geometry is more tricky and the front top mounts are offset so be careful to set them exactly the same as each other, this adjustment is mainly for the caster effect, do a google search about this, it will help your understanding of the effect on handling or the car. Chris
  18. The Grangetown is called 'Kish' but although he's won many awards for trimming for high end hi-fi installs to many show cars of various description, he's not quick and he's always full of work but he's reputed as being the best , but this all comes at a cost and is prob one of the dearest! There's Northumbrian Leather in Heaton, a miserable old sod but they do a good job. There's a small industrial estate part way down the bank on the left but can't remember details of address but go past Sounds Alarming and across the Byker bridge then turn right at the roundabout down the bank i mentioned and it's the first little ind. est. on the left, they are plenty cheaper and do the taxi seats and make and repair leather suites. If you want an ols school guy that should be retired but knows everything about retrimming then your man is half way up the A167 from chester-le-street to Durham on the right at the back of the Fina petrol station, think it's fina but may be wrong, he's your cheapest but he's 112 yr old but can do it with his eyes closed. HTH Chris
  19. I hope not but i fear it could be true. I'm hoping for a revolt against the FIA and it gets back to something near what it was. THe safety rules work fine like the tethered wheels and such so why in the interest of safety did they feel they couldn't do the chicane, 9 out of the 10 were happy to race if that was done so where's the harm? Chris
  20. You're far too observant lol Good spot! Chris
  21. lots will change from this, at least i hope it will. Sadly what a shame the 3rd place was won under such controversy Chris
