By Eurotech are you meaning Reuben and Vinesh? If so then things have gone a little Pete Tong! They've split and both trying to make a go individually, but it was nice of Vinesh (or Vanish as i call him) to buy the drinks in Austria! :D Chris

might be one of those gay ones, it won't let you put it in 'til you buy it a washer, or a hoover, or a...... Chris

That group buy is a shambles, i thought there was to be a good discount for buying a number of kits at once, i was quoted less than that by them for 1 kit it's rediculous! The maf you have is useable and they are/have developed a UK spec map by all accounts thou the main thing that i don't like about the C2 programme is that they essentially use the standard map but with a higher flow injector to deliver the extra fuelling and let the std map work out the fine adjustements, not ideal in my eyes and a custom map is the only way to go as in reallity every engine has different requirements anyway. Yeah i have a few problems with my heap at the moment, one is possibly the Lambda probe, if not then maybe the wiring to the probe, then there's the alternator, what a chew getting it off and on with the charger in the way etc. Hope to be sorted soon though so i can get the heap down to the meeting at Leeds. Chris

Would it not have been easier to just post the link to the Vortech site? Chris
-
So it's matterless and prob just get the cheapest ones of they are the same, i'd like the icey blue/white appearence to them, can't find the 600K stars just the 400K Chris
-
What's the benefit of the stars over the Philips Vision Plus H4? Chris

Nitrous is cool, well it does go in a -160C so it's the ultimate intercooler! Chris

mariovr6, Did that help, how are you getting on with your thoughts about getting a charger? Chris
-
Timo., so did it work then, did you try it? Chris

Storm Warning, LOL good point!!!!! I have a smaller pulley now but a lot of things have changed over the last year or so, i'll get it sorted before long with the smaller pulley on but the 6lb flywheel is on and acts just fine, no stalling or anything so all is well. Chris

Yup, i'd go with that, else they are on many other VW's like pisshats in the scrappy! Chris
-
I have a glowing knob too, i also went to Austria and have a Silver VR6 Is there something in that? Chris
-
we wait and see, mine has a little click on direction change as do many others i've noticed, no big deal but hope it doesn't decome one either. Chris

I have to add something here. I too have the same problem and it is the lead at fault. The VAG leads have a cut out in the metal but the form of the GSF leads are a little different and don't have the cut out to allow the tool/spanner to engage and yes if pushed firmly it will slip over and jam, thay are w@nk leads and i hate them. Chris

OMG This worries me, but i guess everything's easy if you know the answer. Chris

So in conclusion, is there a UJ that can be stuck on the end to fix the clunking?? Chris
-
Yip, you're wrong! As jay said, It's the fan control box with the fan fuse. Chris
