Trimsport Alloy Rear Strut Brace for VW Corrado VR6 G60 16V 8V
Craig replied to G60MAT's topic in Parts for Sale
Sorry might have missed this but what's the retail? And excuse my ignorance but do these simply bolt in situ with no mods required? -
Great work. I bought the same sub a year or so ago a ec ant fault. Absolute great bit of kit. Think there was a thread I started on here somewhere.
-
Enjoy, look forward to more pics :)
-
Awesome mate. Pleased for you. Must be a savage smile induced ride :)
-
I looked at these as there's a red rado on their site with them on and they look sweet but I decided on rh zw1s to make sure they clear my 312s. Nothing ventured. Nothing gained ;)
-
Looks very clean but useless advert. Surely you'd want to put more information to stop all the pointless phone calls
-
Haven't got one myself I'm afraid but they've just announced the z2 http://www.techradar.com/reviews/phones/mobile-phones/sony-xperia-z2-1226987/review Also the galaxy s5 is now waterproof to throw another option in the mix :)

Love the work nick. What's the engine spec then to cope with that increase in power? I know my charged Vr is very quick so this must be mental. And much faster than an e9x m3, at least in a straight line.
-
Great results. Some crazy numbers. That graph makes a charged Vr look feeble compared to the power from that turbo. Have you opted for one of stealths turbo conversions. What mods have been done to the engine. Look forward to the final results and spec :)

Would be cheaper to order that for your own postage and packing needs rather than buying a box and bubble wrap from the post office lol :)
-
These are gorgeous. Glws
-
Good watch. Some good useful info. Always good to know how solid the Vr is in standard guise :)
-
Drove to mums through the new Forrest. Had to dodge a few large puddles tho
-
Sounds good mate. Please keep us updated :)

Looking lovely mate. Top work

Fair play mate. Top turn around. Nice to see the effort being put in rather than taking it to the scrappy :)

Uprated Engine Mounts - Vibra Tec Alternatives - SORTED
Craig replied to Jamie's topic in Engine Bay
Hmm might have to get the wallet out for some vt mounts then. I'll do a search as I'm sure the differnece between fast road and competition has been discussed. Competition claims it 3 x stiffer. Imagine that Would that be better tho for my charged Vr? -
Uprated Engine Mounts - Vibra Tec Alternatives - SORTED
Craig replied to Jamie's topic in Engine Bay
Feel I need a new front mount too, wondered if jay. Renshaw was going to supply any more of the ones sold on here. Otherwise I might have to invest in a vibratechnic one, not cheap tho :( -
Perhaps I was a tad negative, I'm sure this will appeal to others but possibly some different options might help as it's a lot to spend for (and I say it loosely) only 240bhp. If for an extra few hundred £s you can get to near 300bhp then seems a lot better bang for buck. What would the install pictured cost for eg with the charge cooler? And I meant I thought the r32 would yield more than a 50bhp gain for such a large cost. But I am tight :) Any yes I had to help fabricate a lot of my kit which was a nightmare at times but I enjoyed this and it helped me understand the process.
-
Seems a lot to me for a small gain. Especially for the R32. My rotrex set up cost less and near on 300bhp, albeit that was second hand.

Our bike to work scheme is opening up in the next few weeks and thinking I'd like to get myself a decent bike. It's limited to halfords but I've heard a few other retailers will accept them too. I'm looking for some casual riding but also to got on some light trails around swanage and the south. So question is I've been looking and like these, sorry there's a few: http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_907523_langId_-1_categoryId_165499 http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/cube-analog-26-hardtail-bike-2013/rp-prod111932# http://www.decathlon.co.uk/rockrider-81-2012-mountain-bike-grey-id_8168918.html http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_777775_langId_-1_categoryId_165499 http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_991946_langId_-1_categoryId_165499 Or I could go second hand and something like the bokor or hoodoo? http://www.voodoobikes.co.uk/bikes/mountainbikes/bokor I can get up to £1k but I'd rather keep it sensible and stick to the £5-600 mark. Or go crazy but would I notice the difference http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_992040_langId_-1_categoryId_165499 What's your opinions. From the rave reviews I'm leaning towards the bizango. I know people don't rate sr suntour but I thought the bizango forks should be good. Isn't a more expensive air suntour fork better than the cheapest rockshox fork? Also I'm not too clued up about the other different makes of things like the brakes and gearing. All brakes are hydraulic on the above. Any opinions welcome.

Looks lovely mate. And the best colour ;) makes me realise mine needs a good polish

Hello, I have for sale: 1 x set of Lupo GTI arms (passenger and driver side) 1 x set of vistaPro aero wipers £50 collected bh12 2aa any postage will need to be on top as to be honest its difficult for me to find a box and get to the post office in my work lunch. A bit if info: This has been discussed many times about what parts are needed for this conversion. It is recommended that you use 2 x Lupo GTI driver arms and a set of aero blades. The reason for using a drivers arm on the passenger side is because if you lift the passenger arm fully it will foul on the bonnet edge. Using a drivers arm avoids this. However they still work exactly the same. when i bought my car the previous owner had already fitted a std set of arms, ie one passenger arm and a drivers arm. I have just replaced the blades for winter with brand new Vistapro aero blades from ECP @ £10.20 each. They were fitted last weekend and haven't seen the road. I have just been able to source 2 drivers arms so naturally i am fitting these as I'm fussy so i have my old set for sale The fact the passenger arm fouls on the bonnet is only an issue if you arent careful when you raise the arm. You can still lift the arm a bit to swap blades etc and has been fine on my car for the last 3 years. I was just lucky and found a spare set of driver arms. ebay has its typical mark up and this conversion is selling for £160. Im led to believe if you buy from the dealers today they no longer sell individual arms and only sell them as a set. However i could be wrong as i havent discussed this myself so please correct me if i am wrong. iirc when i did this mod years ago on my G60 i paid about £120 all in. Ill get some photos uploaded tonight :) Ta___________________________________________
