    Wash and polish, then a monterous skank averaging 18 mpg!!! then put her back into the garage. Was the first time she had been driven in a week or so. and after driving my big old merc there was a huge grin on my face. I bloody love my C!

    To conclude, Most of us have a problem with anyone else in the car except them and only if we can have out car as we want it. The only real bugbear of mine is looking out the window and seeing one or both of the sunvisors left down.

    Seriously tho. Although Im large, I reckon Im reasonably fit. I ride a mountian bike and fly power kites so I dont really notice a problem, although when selfish shoppers park nice and close to the drivers side it can be a bit of an issue. I put my ar$e through an old pair of jeans getting in the other month.

    Its all about inertia. The key is to park where you can open the door propperly and in one fluid movement fall out on to your belly and roll down the hill. If it is a steep hill you have to put your left arm around doublequick to shut the door then blip the alarm before you are out of range.

    Mine have lasted a year so far. But the screen was replaced a few months before they were fitted. Could be less wear on newer glass?

    Followed a black C to luton airport today. Tried to take a pic but only managed to get my dashboard. Private reg loadsa stickers and aerials. ROB **x

    Totally depends on how much you pay. A full job would include the bay and interior, You gets what you pays for. But get some references and look about, Its the sort of thing thats going to pi$$ you off if it isnt right so be prepared to wait for the right sprayer, The good ones get busy and can command a big price, but equally big price dont mean good job. Theres a few on here who have had work done so ask about, and if price is an issue you can always do some of the prep yourself.

    Spotting by proxy, Me Mam saw a "N reg green" (Guessing a storm then) C who was " most courtious and let me through as the road was narowing" on the A31 to Farnham, He then booted it and dissapeared, But was spotted in a layby soon after. All ok chap?
