  1. Sorry if it's "teaching to suck eggs" but I had an intermittent power problem with a previous car and it was all solved by sanding the -ve terminal on the battery and lubing it then tightening up properly.
  2. No way. I have sausage fingers :)
  3. Oh and try not to bang your head on the windscreen, steering wheel. :D the top two screws first then you can lower the clocks out and to the left to get your arm round and release the lead. simple but fiddly.
  4. Ach, he is probably in bed now anyway. :D
  5. IMO, You should try to keep her as she was. I know you probably feel like "F**k it" caus she has given you enough grief over the past few months, but as mentioned above you have a rare piece of Rado there and although it may not be it the same league as a storm it still deserves some TLC rather than a heart transplant. 2p Cha Ching.
  6. You will need some prep first as Furki says. Ideally clay bar then polish then wax then the showroom shine. Then a sky rat will fly past and drop a little present on your pride and joy :D
  7. Blimey, The guy Rawhide posting about the sunroof was the previous owner of my car. Guess I know what the problems are now. Maybee leave it till the summer caus I dont fancy taking all the subframes out and dropping the headlining.
  8. Blimey, does it have a flux capasitor aswell?
  9. Yeah, I think it is just the main buttons on the left that are multi coloured, the others are just green or amber, that is unless someone can tell me how to.
  10. Hmm, Ive had a different experience. My car was busted leaking water by the road. Wondered over to them and the guy walked the 5 or so mins to take a look and see if he could cobble a part together to get me home. All good in my book.
  11. Tis true, Super Duper Fuel Whether anyone can actually notice any difference is like opening a box of frogs.
  12. Nowt wrong with an AX, Mine was a hoot. Scuffed wing mirrors from the crazy suspension. and they are still about dispite the rizzla thin panels.
  13. Ive used the blutac. Keep it wet with old Detailer (never use claybar twice) or a fairy liquid sollution. gets things glassy smoove again.
  14. Tru enough mate but TBH any big 4wd that is gonna cost less than a gee could be classed as a pikeymobile, you just have to look beyond that as it's all about serving a purpose. How about a caravan in Perrywinkle blue? :D
  15. Well. I reckon the director and writer acheived his aim. Frustrated soldiers coming back after the big event still hungry for more caus they did nothing out there. Highlighted by your need for more death and gore. Tis Ironic really. :)
  16. It is all about towing weights, The Mondeo and 406s may be able to tow a plastic caravan but would you trust it to keep your half tonne horse and trailer safe? How about a Mitzi shogun?
  17. I only use autoglym to polish my wheels. Helps keep the brake dust from sticking. Borrowed some of Siroccotune's Zymol cleaner wax and was quite impressed. but nothing to the shine that Kip put on Delvr6's bonnet with that swissol stuff. You gets what you pay for.
  18. I have heard the same elsewhere, but I like it. Probably more for what it does than how it looks, if it was a touch deeper and more substantial at the sides it would look ace. But I still love watchin people watch it go down and point to their passengers.
  19. take it back to Longbridge and get in the que :D
  20. Says the man with pink side lights  :D You sayin mine is a boy racers car!!! :D
