    Propper Clean, and hosed of the underside to get rid of all the salt, Touched up the worst of the scratches yesterday so was able to laquer them today. and fitted some plush colour coded mats from juztmatz, All good.

    which alarm is it, If it is a conlog one there should be a socket to plug the fob into which resets the alarm?

    Had something similar the other week. wait till the battery is fully charged or jump start it. Alarm wont let it start if it thinks the battery has been tampered with or there is not full charge,

    Just put a few dabs of the Touch up paint on the worst of the stonechips, Im going on the thought that less is more as I dont want dollops of paint showing when finished but at the same time I know I wont get a standard finish in them. How many coats of paint / laquer have people used and how long inbetween paint and laquer is it best to leave it to dry, bearing in mind the outside temp is about 8 degrees. Many thanks.

    I would use the foam as a template for the mdf. and go from there.

    Would it be possible to hard wire it inside a rear view mirror? so that you still had a mirror but to one side of it was the screen.

    depends how much of a perfectionist you are. My paint work is far from perfect so I see no point for me to use the all singing all dancing stuff. But if it were I would be speaking to kipax on here for a tub of Zymol.

    Depth of shine and length of protection, Definatly, After seeing half a bonnet done in the good zymol stuff and half in normal. It was obvious which was which.

    :D LOL, yeah the brush has been standing bristles down in the grit and the rubber hoses drag down your paintwork just after you have managed to get your trousers completly soaked. Great fun.

    My 1.4 ax was a rocket. just dont try and steer it once it had gone off. I can well believe a 1.1 would show a nova a clean pair of heals.

    lean on the horn for a few mins. and smile, or wave. Ususally works and gets their attention more than just driving like a joyrider. After all the Highway code does say the horn is only to be used to alert other road users to your presence.

    Aye, Dead Battery, Jump started run for a while and all is good, Best not leave it for a few weeks and just expect it to start.
