loving the botom Honda, that zaust looks like a catering size tin of beans. proof if it be needed, ya cant polish a turd. -
You might have to wash it a bit more often than the C. :)
-
fixed. Ta,

Must be caus I saw one on Sunday. Nice twin centre exit pipes a'la lupo gti and a bit more aluminium inside than a GTI, Prices start from £23,745 Although I have just speced one up with pearl black paint and beige cow interior and some gizmos and it popped at just under 30k. Make your own R32
-
might just pester my mate into letting me have a blast. but do you mean test driving a r32? now that is a good idea.
-
people all seem to go for the Mk4 R32, Im guessing that the general consensus is the Mk5 is pants, Caus I saw one last weekend and it looked pretty good to me, and if it handles anything like my mates mk5 GTI then it would spank the mk4 into subservience.

Darren, are you sure you are not going to cheat and squeeze the engine into that passat or something, :) Origional 24 screen splittie for me please. In white and mint green. 8) 8)

Recaros rock, Leather has a tendancy to slide you about when pulling Gs.

25 - 27 mpg is a fair average for a tankfull. i do mostly shortish journeys 5-10 miles and I find the mpg depends on whether the roads have been dry or not. :D The thing that took me a while to cotton on to was although it looks as good as any modern car it is 11 - 13 years old, and things will go wrong from time to time. But these niggles are easily forgiven when you pull up at the lights and pedestrians look rather than cross the roads, or when you get it right on a cambered corner and howl down a straight grinning like a dog with two tails.

Yes it seems pricey, Have a gander here for something that is a year younger 2k more on the clock but 2k cheaper and a lot closer to you. There are some bargians to be had at the moment, but personally I would buy from on here or a private sale rather than from a trader, They have to make a living somehow but not out of me.
-
Yeh that is a good point, Ill get me coat.
-
How long would it take with an an oil cooler on? Im going to get one before the summer but Im guessing it is gonna take even longer before I can give it some wiggins?

Seeing OSV in the flesh was a humbling experience. In my eyes that car is as close to perfect as they come.
-
Seized up handbrake till it the cable thawed out then the Tunes packed in, only the sub thumps now must be some gremlins in there somewhere.
-
Just got in my car and the handbrake is jammed on. The lever has gone slack below a certian point and I have tried driving a bit forwards and backwards to release it but no joy. Im guessing the brakes have frozen on in the night and whan I go back later in the day all will be sorted.

That is what the guy at halfrauds sold me when I first started to investigate my pants reception. It made absolutly no difference because it is only boosting the aerial up to the base of the beesting.
-
No need to shout! :D The problem is though, that the amp in the base is sealed with foam that over time has soaked up rain water and shorted out the amp. Running a power source to it will do nowt as the amp is fecked. The two routes are either new amp and aerial base (70 quid) or bypas the amp and connect the coaxial cable directly to the aerial and hey presto reception again.
