Not tried those specific ones but had polystyrene in the rear and agree they are much better as you found out on your last car. Much more stable, better cornering manners as in no more wobbly rear end.

I can understand changing to late for leather but I find the early interior so much nicer as in the shape of everything like stalks, vents, door pulls etc.

Ok I am jumping the gun massively but I am hoping to buy another corrado, I have finally made up my mind on what I want but I'm not quite ready to say as it may and will shock alot of you once I inform you all. It may still not come off but if it does I will be fairly happy for a while lol. If I do buy this car then I may have a shell for somebody if they want it.

A mate got 2 ASBO's for the anti social screamer pipe.

You need a decent headunit and then you can get by with cheaper speakers and amps if you install it all correctly, cabling, sound proofing, position of speakers and mounted correctly. 20% of your budget should be on good installation practices.

If your decatting you just want a piece of pipe straight through and the lamda boss is needed so you can demoing the lambda in it's original position so your ecu can control fuel delivery. You can buy a pipe or just go to your local exhaust type place and get them to make a decat piece up. If your car is made after roughly 1991 you need the cat for mot so you could get a sports cat but then they are more expensive by alot. You could just remove all the cells to decat it and so it looks like a cat is in place but mot wise it still might not pass.

When my rears felt slow with turn in I stiffened up the damping and it cured it, try it as a temp measure till the springs you want turn up.
-
My point was to yes roughly set them up but dont be too insistent on tweaking too much as after a while things do change and you will end up changing things anyhow.
-
forgot to add they were et 35 standard offset with 7.5 width in 17

It doesnt matter what it ends up like so long as it doesnt end up like mine is now thats the main thing. All im saying is it must understeer more with just the uprated front bar on, just keep looking and get one without her knowing :ignore: Aww nice one mate i just became a daddy to a boy a week tomorrow, you will love it when your little one is here but oh my god what an experience the whole birth thing is, nothing can prepare you for it, seriously. Get ready is all i will say.

I wouldnt worry too much about setting up the damping just yet as they will need to settle 1st so just fit and forget for a month or so..
-
Was never for sale. You need to get at least a 25mm rear roll bar on it as well.
-
Could have bought mine dude

Stop been a gimp and making it look nice and spend your money on the bloody engine like you never did last time.

I probably do deserve to lose my license then lol I did have a properly tuned corrado and I did push it to it's limits, I am from the train of thought that there is only 1 great big huge race track. Not saying it's right just what I think. Then I had a TT which had great cornering skills untuned haldex and the corrado was better but only just. Now have a Subaru again untuned chassis wise and it's the best of the lot, so much more entry speed that can and does carry through the corner and is much more better grip wise in all conditions, I used to think you don't need AWD for cornering but that was because I never had driven AWD before now I have had it it's all I want. Yes the corrado is capable and fun but it's an aged chassis compared to modern vehiclesit can work good still though but really takes alot of effort to get to AWD standard
-
Which Is great except this guy says he don't do that lol. Much much better corner grip as well.
-
Buying a tt and nodding that is the easiest and cheapest. It's really not easy to convert to AWD and realistically about 4k when all said and done. Sorry but all true
-
Ok I will do the deal but need to haggle for £3250 and I can arrange collection if you agree. Let me know lol
-
Some good ideas there your all just glimmered by the 'scene' Blue wide arched with rear bumper air diffuser is cool but not with the rear lights and what appears to be a mk3 polo front end or similar lol.
-
So what we saying there then, it will be like having a piddly small pulley for low end as well as like having a larger pulley for up top kinda thing???
-
Just trying to blag the use of the in laws double garage bubthey have a kit car in there nearing completion at the moment.
-
Yep they used to run 4.4 bar boost, they literally just got the old blocks off a pile and built the motors up.
