As much as I loved it rob it still was not totally what I wanted, now have a clear image in my head and this is on the right lines. Jonathon that is awesome, now imagine the corrado doing that, 4 wheel drifting in style with some class lol.
-
Awsome article that is. It reads exactly like I wanna do things, cheaply and all go no show. Plus it should be easier on the corrado chassis.
-
Yea it was chop with leepu who screwed up a brilliant car the volcano car of johnny Vegas. That's where the inspiration is from. As the corrado is part golf so I know it can be done but they had all the geometry gear precision measuring stuff. Please any info you can find from the pile would he great mate. As it stands I have a bare shell which is just too good to go to the scrappy and I can get a full Subaru car for not a great deal, granted it will need work but I can sell some stuff from it that I don't need to bring the cost down a little and then tuning them is reasonably cheap, still gonna cost a mint though but will he permanent AWD sound cool as fook although I would put equal length manifolds on and lose the burble so it's more of a sleeper type car or q car lol.
-
Cheers for the precision measurements there phil I shall complete this project by the weekend lol.
-
Haha I know I can't decide what to do, when I broke it it was with the intention of cutting up the shell and going to the scrappy in bits, a year down the line or whatever it is its still in the garage and it still smells like it used to and it just brings back memories of good times. I want AWD on it, caged up still and just generally a menace to society kinda thing going on. Just don't know where to start? All I can keep thinking of is subaruing it, yes AWD and boxer flat 4 turbo, any body care to do some dimension digging for me as I ain't got a clue where to start, which is the next issue if I don't know where to start then I don't know how to do lol.

:epicfail:

Also it may be a case of getting it running and spend money else where and see if it copes which it should do on modest power if you can get a cheap one. Then upgrade as necessary.
-
I wanna pay for a new roof for you please.
-
Going to put a wanted up so keep a look out for us.
-
Even been thinking about rebuilding my rado back up but it's literally a ground up project, thinking 4wd lots of power haha......
-
Ya must have forgot how expensive corrados are to run mate, sell me the mk1 and do ya self a favour. I'm currently in a classic Subaru haha, family car for when the little one is due in 3 weeks.
-
Exactly how my pics were taken with the pole, literally moving half a mile an hour kinda speed, just a very small slight roll forwards.
-
Awesome mate, I hit 155 on my clocks 4 up and it would not rev past 6k at the time, i was on 17's with 40 profile.

Momo monte carlo in 320mm is perfect in looks and feel
-
Image rims all the way
-
I shall do mate, free time is non existent at the moment that's my problem.
-
Your making me regret selling it now. :(
-
It shouldn't mate, the n75 valve was set to maintain 1.5 bar, don't drover your boost gauge is monitoing and may not be as accurate as you think or the n75 valve is going faulty and over Reading but yea better to be safe than sorry. Has James tweaked it for the mid range whilst it was on the rollers.
-
Why not just get intouch with image and order some new stuff to your spec.
-
Yea had a boost gauge, last I remember it was on full boost of 1.5bar at 3200 rpm I think and held 1.5bar upto somewhere I can't remember and I think at full rpm it would tail off to approx 1.3 bar, I think it was mapped to tail off to that as there was no more power in it, so it was backed off for safety to prevent strain on components that was not needed. I was going to go solid lifter on the head and a few other things in there but it would have been a push too far requiring yearly rebuilds, kinda like putting a 62mm pulley or similar on a g laser, gibes more go but less reliability, and I was goin to get forged rods in to push the turbo more in the midrange for even more hectic delivery as to me it just got slow in the end lol.

The Judge's G60, total rebuild...finished (almost) NEW PICS

TFSI thingy majiggy with the G60 strapped on for good measure with compound charging? -
I had this gauge on the lc-1 as I don't like the digital readouts, to me it's easier to read the gauge as a needle old school style, also don't forget you will want to know it's fueling right on full boost, so think about trying to look at the gauge for a split second on full throttle with the power you have, it's not so easy lol. The digital readout with it changing numbers all the time and you only glancing at it makes it too confusing http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/prod ... _gauge.php

It doesn't need a turbo timer as it's water cooled.
-
Shakes head in disbelief lol. What do you mean open wastegate on reheat? If it overboosted it would be because the wastegate was shut and not opening.

24v V6 or R32 Factory Conversion with some extras.....

Even that's not totally simple.
