With the standard pod size your never really going to get a little oomph Draw your own conclusions but personally i think they update the doors without been in your face. Also its not fitted quite right at the mo on mine was a rush job :)

How is the rest of the chassis, as your describing how my car behaves but on the standard G60 box so i was hoping that the CTN box would make it more driveable/controllable. As for the ASD box i like the sound of the speeds reached upto 3rd but i think it will make it feel like i have a huge turbo on, loads of lag. I also want lower cruising revs.

With either of those 1st 3 gears i would be getting straight into my torque curve. You get more and more into the boxes. I didn't want to hear your still spinning in 2nd though and 3rd sometimes, is it a lot or a little?

I know the feeling Dave, everytime i drive it something annoys me or i know i want to change something, don't drive it for a week or 2, get in and it's like the 1st ever drive 1 word magic, then the cycle starts over again.

So its good for those late night breakdowns, poking around under the bonnet looking like you know what your doing then call recovery moments, this makes you look like a pro. Does it work in my cig socket or does it need replacing

So how much would somebody be willing to pay for a car like this, quite exclusive engine, don't know of any 8v with more power apart from a MK1 that had around 340bhp many many moons ago, which required rebuilds every year i presume due to been very highly strung :lol:

Thats why i fly past so people don't notice it's not been detailed lol

Having never been to Gwerkes (too far for me) i can't comment but the general concensus is these are the guys to use on the old G60. Not sure but i think i may have the old set up PM me if your interested? Yes shorter service intervals, there is also a 65mm pulley but your looking 20000 mile rebuilds and restricted rev range.

I don't know how much with it just been stage 4 on it's own, suspect just more throttle response as thats what mine did, but the idea is to get the chip and 68mm pulley to spin it faster to get the most out of the porting on the charger, then you would be seeing around the 190bhp-200bhp mark.

Its magic ain't it, what you can do with a little fluff, need the right size slot though.......be warned. :lol:

The intercooler is a hard job to fit. Depends on power output on the clutch, it can handle loads of power, quite a few high power cars run the standard set up including me. Use vibratechnics engine mounts, many tuners sell them.

Its a rear engine mount bracket. It bolts to the back of the engine block. And I'm sure your not an amateur.. Well now you mention it i did manage to remove all 4 wheels, clean them and re install them within the hour..... :)

You're thinking too small - just do away with that heavy engine and fill the engine bay with these instead. Electric supercharger thrust propulsion 1st to make the magic 300bhp wins a can of bow (may come empty)

A thinking of selling at the mo. Just with how things are at the moment it may be for the best. Having to run 2 cars and the house, more bills, too much debt etc its getting expensive and im skint lol, the mrs needs a car for work and at the moment she has a 55 plate polo on finance so sell that, sell mine and get a nice car out of it for us both to use, paying cash to free up some money. Im in the skint corrado club at the moment, been honest it is a last resort hence a feeler for it as i really really dont want to get rid of it as i know i will seriously regret it.
