That 1st pic looks like something from a magazine :lol: Looks a real tidy example and if you got it cheap then all the better for it. I dont really see the C resemblence though as many comment on it been that way.

Is there any space left in the original place? I have my Haltech ECU, wiring, relays and some fuses all screwed under the passenger side tray, unless you get on your knees you cant see it. Makes it easily accessible and its tidy.

Although the rad from pro alloy is smaller it will be a better design than factory. If you can spare money on tuning then surely you can spare money on making the engine reliable as well, if you know what i mean. I run quite high power levels on the standard G60 rad and it works fine when driving along, when sat in traffic the highest temp i have seen is 110 and that was after giving it some stick on a really hot day then sitting for 10-15 min. Ideally i want to get it cooler but as it stands its coping just.

I cant see the pistons been good for much more to be honest. I think the valves are power related not RPM limited, they get too warm, overheat and snap.

Yep i know, getting a reliable 300 from the 8v was not cheap either.

Now on mine been on Haltech management and no ISV anymore, the cold start is crap, it struggles to idle when cold ticking over around 400-500rpm till it gets warm and smells of fuel, so my point is its struggling to idle due to the fuel even though its a cold engine and not warm like in your case if you see what i mean.

I think its time to start a members thread then, sounds like your well happy with it so get some pics up. You can service the charger yourself think a kit is around £250 ish may be wrong.

I thought fuel was a good coolant so when its reading warm it will give more fuel to cool it down, so it might be over fueling and struggling to idle.

And the rest, you need to set your sights higher than that.

It's a possibility i may be doing this in the future :( Basically looking to see the difference in looks with the right and left handed throttle bodies and the boost pipe runs people are using. Im looking to run the large port AGU head but that has the left handed throttle body, i want a right handed 1 as IMO it looks better, now the right handers are small port heads apart from 1 which i have now figured out which, as i will be able to get a better pipe run with my current intercooler and if i change coolers then its still very feasable to get a very decent run as well. A can of Bow (maybe empty :lol: ) to the 1st person who can guess what its from, maybe too easy this.
