I heard that when they do the mobile checks they are meant to only check the vehicles that look to be speeding in excess and not every car that passes, prob wrong though. Apparently you can name yourself as the driver but do not write it on the form you receive, if you do and then sign it there is no getting away for sure, but write on the form see attached sheet and write on the attached piece your details, but sign the form received and not the attached info your sending as well, so effectively you have declared you as the driver and if it went to court that cant be used in evidence. This way you can see the photo/video evidence which as you all know you can only see it once you have declared who is driving, as more often than you think there will be a descrepancy somewhere and you may just get away with it. Im not condoning anything as you sholdnt speed but we all do and this may help somebody who has 9 points and a possible ban looming, so you have nothing to lose anyway so worth a try, you never know. Too many people dont put up a fight as the scare tactics they use saying if you dont accept 3 points and this £60 fine and you challenge it you will most likely get a more hefty penalty, well maybe but maybe it might get thrown out of court. If you want all 3 bases covered you def need more than springs. Remember you get what you pay for with suspension. Try Weitec fixed height/damping platforms.

My guess would be V8-V12 something along those lines poss turbo those for 1000bhp. 8)

Well now the cold days are truly upon us and many Corrado's will be taken off the road for the winter, what are the plans you will be doing over the months of winter? Hopefully i am going to get the bodywork freshened up with a flash over/respray subtle smoothing, wheels refurbed, generally get it looking as good as she goes. These are probably just pipe dreams though :lol:

There is a buying guide in the knowledge base. Hard to say on a price for that 1 but if ok condition i would say 2-3k. Prices are low so def a buyers market at the minute. Make sure the electrics work, mainly spoiler comes up at 45mph and goes back down around 10mph. Sunroof tilts and slides, alot when broke only tilt and not slide, usually puts scratches in the roof. When the charger was last rebuilt, VW recommend 60k rebuilds but if its running a 68mm pulley then 30-40k ish, bargain down by £300-500 for a rebuild if it needs doing and then get it done straight away. There will be rust under the bonnet usually front cross member area, poss inner wing surface rust.

Yes exactly like that. It looks like a corrado bay but with a different engine. Seen yours loads before and each time i look at it, it just looks better and better mate, somebody needs to buy this car, im another if only i had 5.8k, its well worth it in my book, i have to say it looks 1,000,000 times better without the engine cover. Free plug for ya :)

Yea i was wondering if it was for ease of installation really, i think personally i would keep it on the right. Not fussed about making it look OE from the car it came from more corrado OE modified

I would say considering you dont intend going near too many tracks you have gone full on anyway so why not take it into the bay as well like phatty's, just onto the struts, no need to go too mad in there.
