    fuel pump relay

What's going on? Are you going to turn out to be some sort of filthy deviant making jokes about sleeping with animal's and Supercharged's family? I hope not. I'll be redundant otherwise. :(
  3. I used to average around 30 in mine.
  4. What turbo is that? What exhaust manifold are you using? You using standard inlet I assume? Is Digipants going to work with the turbo, considering the corrado ecus will only take 1bar due to the map sensor?
  5. Yeah, and how to build an ANSU injector cleaning kit. :) I'm only assuming as it's what mr corrola_sunderland has posted before. But if he could confirm it would be useful. It would also be worth him reading through the FI 8v engine thread and looking at other G60 turbos, such as Junkies, _Monkey's and the other blokes cars in order to get a better idea.
  6. Basically you're looking at an FPR to use in conjunction with a turbo are you not? I think you need to take a step back and look at management, prospective HP, and consider the FPR when looking at the injectors you require. as it will control the volume of fuel supplied.
  7. Oh dear. They really have made them look to$$. :(

    Camping It Up

You literally had two thick rubber bags shaped and sized for the springs that you dropped into the middle of the springs, then you had a valve at one end you connected some tubing to and ran that to a point where you had 2 tyre valves attached to the body. You would load the ute up, and then inflate each bag individually until it sat level. The bags were pretty tough although there were some concerns about big thorns and three corner jacks, I believe they got on fine with them. If you wanted to adjust the bags, you just used a compressor.

    Camping It Up

Not entirely related, but we built a ute up as a camper in Australia. Took the rear bed off, made a body up which all the food clothes etc went in, and put a fibreglass bed thing on top, which jacked open so they could snuffle in at night, was a pretty useful tool. Anyway, to cope with the extra load, thy bought airbags that fitted inside the rear springs and could be inflated or deflated to suit the load on the back.
  10. I'm going ABF turbot in the next 12-18 months so will be interesting to see how you do it.
  11. Show cages are pointless, and potentially dangerous as the stainless steel grades used to make them do not have the right properties to protect you in a crash. Look for proper rollcage manufacturers and have one custom built to your car.
  12. Fairly easy. Steering wheel off (24mm socket I think), steering wheel cowling off, then the levers come off possibly in a pair. There is a mulitplug for the levers underneath I think.
  13. YOUR A VERY SICK MAN IF THAT FLOATS YOUR BOAT :pukeright: Dont question the man, just shut your eyes and get on with it - it will soon be over lol Indeed...
  14. My wipers used to operate by themselves when I went over bumps. I changed my stalk and all was well again.
  15. Are there any FWD DSG r32s? Canbus is the wiring loom in effect, it's actually the name for the wiring system. You don't have individual components having wires from them to the ecu, you have several controllers and sensors patched into a few wires. the wiring loom is terminated each end of the car, and the ecu can work out which sensor is saying what. Saves a lot of wiring, and by using standard protocols and languages, means that different components can be added into the loom of the car. In tractors they have moved to a standard ISOBUS, so that third party implements can be controlled through the tractors electronics, saving having extra control boxes in the cab. I don't think the corrado ABS sensors are compatable with the sensors used in the latest generation of VWs as speed sensors, but I could be wrong.
  16. Karl, I'll give you a tenner if you dress up in a skirt and dance for me. £10.12 raised so far in the R32athon.
  17. you got her number mate?? :norty: Lol I'll pm it to you if you want. I'd double bag though. lol.
  18. Not really. Take the rocker cover off and inspect the chains, upper tensioner, pad and guide. If the car has a solid plastic upper tensioner pad then it has been changed, if not, inspect the pad for wear.
  19. You know you will also need new subframes, suspension, front crossmember, slam panel etc? Cheaper and easier to buy a VR in the current climate
  20. Nope. Completely different pipe arrangements, and the corrado VR rad(which is bigger than the 16v unit by ~50%) struggles to cool the VR6 anyway.
  21. Why not order some PI springs for a very late VR with the late top mount? That might make a bit of a difference.
  22. What bolt is this? It's my first Rado so I'm still pretty clueless! I can't see anything missing in that pic either? :thumbleft: Welcome along. :)
  23. ROFL! I'd have thought the VR was ideal for pulling away in snow with plenty of weight over the front wheels and lots of low down torque so you didn't need the throttle? My old Maestro Turbot Deisel was awesome for pulling through the stuff.
