There is a bloke i know who collects classic/nice cars, i say nice as some aren't really classic, but he gets a magazine in the post (don't know which one) and he tells me there is a feature on a corrado Vr6 in it and it sold for £17k. Anyone know anything about this? Says he will bring me the magazine next week so i can have a look.

I swear its the same woman

Ahh i thought we were talking about the wind deflectors still. i don't have a rieger grill, looks very "Max Power magazine" imo
-
I struggle to like them as when i was a kid the local weirdo lady with loads of cat had one and that's all i picture when i see one. She was like that grotbags lady from kids tv.
-
Are you sure you want it? Might get damaged in the post.

I admit mine do look a bit strange, especially with standard speedlines (just seems a bit odd)

If for any reason Portent doesn't have it, i will take it, might be able to collect.

This is the one i have, fits under my lowered car, i used to have to use the standard jack to raise car up a bit before i could fit the halfords jack under.

I have the alloy low profile sgs engineering one. They come with decent warrenty. Was about £100 with axle stands. I like it. only thing I notice is that you have to put in more effort to jack up car. But only a small issue.

Saw one on ebay the other day for similar money. Had minor rust on tailgate.

Best price posted for the front engine mount? Am using a poly one at the moment, but my engine seems to be swaying side to side and inlet elbow has rubbed the paint off the suspension turrent.
-
Must clean mine, paint looks excellent on yours. Red grill badge is a bit odd looking though. Oh yeah, welcome to the forum.

Oil temp sender, where to get one and part number please.
Jim Bowen replied to Roger Chatfield's topic in Engine Bay
yep, the wire at oil end just snaps off, seen a few do it now. Quite easy to solder back together though. -
I used double sided foam tape on mine and only used one of the metal clips they come with. Not sure what fitting kit they supply when new as bought mine 2nd hand

I had this problem and it turned out to be the stalk on steering column, bought a non-genuine one from ebay and sorted it.
-
i literally squirt it onto my finger and smear the thinnest layer i can over the cover.

Here you go.

I just use a hylomar blue non setting gasket type thing, can get it from most petrol stations. Never had an issue and done mine 3 times now.
-
I have one you can have for a fiver posted. Doesn't have the foam seal though. Will get you a pic.

Did over 100,000 in my corsa. Hardly even serviced it then it dropped a valve at top speed thinking I was beating a Mercedes that probably wasn't even trying or aware of the race I had going on.
-
I've driven about 85,000 miles in mine. I think who has driven the most miles in a corrado is better. No achievement in buying a low miler and just parking it somewhere. Nor going out and buying a high mileage one.
-
just past 215,500 miles, but i know there are people on here with higher.

Was on my VR when i got it
