Been doing mine this weekend and was suprised to find my schutz is black, its not the VW stuff, but i've chucked some on anyway. It doesn't feel rubbery like the original stuff its like rock hard and feels like coal  Have done it over two layers of POR15 paint, so hoping thats just as good

Got it lastnight, quick pic of it. Not had a chance to fire it yet, got home from picking it up and went to bed.

Thought they were £112 now from the dealers. Would be happy to ditch mine as never use them, but would make car look odd. Could be worthwhile getting custom plastic lenses made and swapping the bulbs for cool running ones. Bought a new foglight from dealers and it got smashed within a year. Yeah I've just been reading about it being a heavy breast, even heavier than the one I have at the moment. And that is heavy, it also comes with a pretty fancy looking scope, which I am sure is also going to be heavy. Oh well. Sent from my X10i using Tapatalk 2

Buying another springer rifle this weekend, Its an Air Arms TX200HC, 2nd hand and comes with a nice scope. Going to take both my rifles and the pistol to the airgun range next week and see which rifle i prefer and sell the other one. Think i'll also sell the pistol as don't see me getting any use from it. Maybe we could all go on a corrado club hunt

Its been a bit on and off for me recently, not worked out if its my pc or not yet. Sent from my X10i using Tapatalk 2 -
YES!!!! Sell the corrado get a old golf, sit it in your garage while you sit inside on the internet acting all smug about this old car you have doing nothing, and one day you could sell it to some bloke in girls jeans meaning you can retire off the back of keeping an old golf in the garage for a few years. Sounds a brilliant plan. or you could buy a much better looking corrado, thats faster, drives nicer, more modern and all for a coupe of grand, you could enjoy it, drive it everyday, abuse it, then take it to bits when your finished and sell the parts off, and probably end up getting your money back.

Nah, shouldn't be hard to remove, just a few screws, unless the screws went rusty/seized

That black cap on mine isn't fixed to anything but the bumpstop, and it slides up and down the rod bit of shock. ---------- Post added at 10:22 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:20 AM ---------- With bits removed, looks like some screws there you can undo

yeah i have thanks :) Joined a few airgun forums over the last year and doing a lot of reading/research. Already rushed out and bought a rifle without doing any research at all.

Thats a bargain, i've just been over the gun shop and he got two HW100 just come in 2nd hand, wanted £650 without a scope. I'm looking at a KT version now, after trying out the thumbhole stock (didn't think i'd like it, but i really do) Priced up what i want new and it comes to £1200, so might hang on for a 2nd hand kit. Been wondering about gas ram conversion, my mate is looking to rebuild his old BSA airsporter

They are just bonded to the plastic with some sealant, i took some apart but the lenses were smashed. Probably worth heating them up if you don't mind sacrificing the plastic parts
-
Thats what i bought not long ago, the HW45, and probably only shot it 40-50times so far, just sits in a box looking nice. I need some farmland :(

Looking at your pics i think i'm going to have to take my rear beam off (again) and the fuel tank :( I noticed quite a bit of surface rust around the beam mounting brackets where they bolt to the body of car Keep the pics coming, very helpful to me.

Just curious really, does anyone on here shoot airguns regulary? Been trying to get into the hobby, bought a rifle, then a pistol, then spent money modifiying the rifle, now want another rifle. Its fast becoming an expensive hobby, and the sad things is i'm not really finding anywhere to go and shoot things. Looking at getting a HW100, quite like the KS version, but i think with the scope and filling stuff is going to cost just over £1000....eek

Amazing stuff as usual, pics looks great, do you use some sort of torch while taking photos? Will be doing those bushes on front crossmember very shortly, am sure you made a thread about your technique/tool you made for the job, i will have to find that and copy you :D
