you are meant to push the wiper stalk towards front of car to get it on, then it wipes every so often, but to turn it off you have to push stalk towards front of car again. confused me when i 1st got car, had to drive 20miles to with rear wiper "screeching" across window every few minutes as i couldn't turn it off

the side wall on a 225/45 will be pretty much the same height as a 205/50 the guys at the tyre place i went to (premier garage, newport) said they used to run standard tyres at really high pressure on track and it stops the tyre roll/sidewall flex. not too sure about this though, they did say up to 60psi which seems alot to me  but just repeating what they said :cuckoo: i'd get some 16's for track use, am sure it'll help having low profile tyres and in a bit more modern size

i agree, i've had batteries stood in garage for years and they always worked again

i sprayed loads of stuff with rattle cans and never had a problem, on my last car i did the mirrors (plastic) and complete tailgate (metal) and it all lasted for 3yrs that was just using all halfords stuff are you cleaning everything with white spirits? how are you letting it dry etc

just had mine off the car for 6 weeks and was fine when i reconnected it :confused4:

i got rid of my t-cut products, especially the coloured ones, they are probably whats making your cloth change colour
-

i got mine off ebay, brand new can't remember how much but i know it was an insignificant amount :D

could anyone do me a massive favour and take a photo of the wires in their foglights? i'm really not sure i've got them the right way round, i just guessed in the end. from memory i have a brown wire connecting to the surround metal that holds the bulb in, the other wire actually joins to the bulb

sometimes, very occasionally i get a misfire usually under load and i seem to notice it most after i've dropped speed and go to pull away/build up speed again. feels like its not running on all cylinders for a breif moment, have to kinda dip clutch and give it some revs is this likely to be coilpack, not sure when HT leads were last done either

i got corrado pedals with all the rubber bits renewed, even got one on the accelerator. my feet seem to slip off metal pedals, i have some sparco ones if anyone is interested in those for a small price

don't buy red cars is the best option, they all seem to end up pink
-
i don't see how you get red on cloth unless the car has no laquer or clearcoat? surely the paint would have to pass through this layer to end up on your cloth, and if its on your cloth surely you are removing paint each time, well definately you are imo put no end of polish and wax on mine and cloth doesn't change colour

i don't know about that? but i know VW are always a pain, wanting to knw car reg and all the details every time?
-
a service history would be good, depends how long you plan to keep it etc and how you going to sell it. i don't think VW are worth the money, like you say they don't really know much about the corrado, they just have the right tools. i'd rather use a corrado specialist or someone who knows the cars

i changed mine after 160,000 and the old plastic one was still fine, just did it as a precaution really
-
it says i'm about 305th position overall :! what are the prizes?

from looking at graphs i've noticed that most air filters loose you torque but give you more bhp, but the bhp is only at top of your rev range
