I'd start with it cold and fill header tank to the normal level, run engine with cap off for a bit, when the water level starts to rise as it warms put the cap back on. Then maybe go for a short drive, let it cool off and check the level again. That aux pump hose can be a bit of a pain to fit, i've had mine come off before.

The ebay link in first post contains everything. I bought one of them kits and only used the outer rubber seal, as your second link. The other trims are three plastic parts that fit to the screen before you drop it in. I still have those parts and unlikely to use them. The chap that fitted my screen had all 4 parts but i used my rubber seal as his was just in a plastic bag and had loads of kinks in it.

I've always looked at it as still needing the same amount of air pressure, its just a different amount of air due to tyre size. Like blowing up two different sized balloons but so they are both as squidgy as each other

Is any thread visible? You can sometimes get two nuts on a stud and turn the inner one to unwind it.
-
Yes i seem to remember someone testing out a air filters with vince at stealth and the most gain was from a BMC cda without the cold air feed
-
I seem to be swapping the engine just as often  so try both options out about to put my 4th engine in
-
I swap between a bmc cda and standard airbox with a k&n in it. K&n is fine as long as you clean and oil them properly

Welcome back. I remember the name.

think i remember the name, did you used to do car alarms?
-
 I was impressed with the Golf GLX guess
-
Probably been mentioned before, but i was watching car SOS last night and they were doing up a mk1 golf gti, but went to a golf specialist and there was a corrado there. Only for about 10seconds

I know a guy on another forum has got some sort of door bars things that you stick on when parked.

I keep meaning to ask this, got new outer cvs from vw at a hideous price, but still worry about the inner ones as they are still the original ones. Can the actual shaft just be cleaned up or do they wear in any way?

My windscreen fitter after doing mine thought there was a better solution for the rubber trims, last time i saw him he said he had done another corrado and used a civic trim, (no idea on what year or model but he tells me it was much neater and one piece??? Told him i'd try and break mine to get a new one so he can use the civic trim

Mine was about £420 for the screen/trims and fitting

Original shocks are sachs/boge turbo/advantage, its the standard length springs that are harder to find. Could use an H+R -40mm spring kit, its not a massive drop in height, but makes car look right
-
I tried the eastwood chassis black and the other one, chassis black pro? Bought the primer and top coat and it kept reacting and coming out crap. Still got three cans of the stuff, didn't like it.

Well it was Chris Hoy on the bike, that's all i can work out so far

Could try this place. I got mine from there but retrimmed the whole headlining http://www.as-trim.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=5_198_199&products_id=633

Snow foam isn't rubbed in. You spray it on and leave it for a bit and then wash it off. Meant to help lift the dirt before you start washing it.
-
Yeah could just be a lifter drained of oil. When fitting new ones it tells you to hold the revs at 3-4k for a while and then let idle and repeat until noise goes away.
-
That's the sort of thing i do
