  1. They all stopped breaking corrado and are selling them complete for £10k+ now
  2. Why not get an 8P 2005>, thats what i have, was valued at £2200 not too long ago with 94000miles on it. That one in link is strange, the mileage goes down twice in that list and with all those advisories i wouldn't consider it.
  3. i feel i have to keep mine as its taught me a lot, its the first car i started doing any mechanics on and what started with changing a brake caliper has led to me rebuilding the whole car and am about to fit a engine for the 4th time  Works out i've done 10,000miles per year over the 10years, although for about 3 of those years it has sat in parts.
  4. Seeing as my insurance is due for renewal tomorrow, it must mean i've had the corrado for 10yrs now. That's all really.
  5. With the amount of money i've spent on mine i am going to drive it everyday, decided not to bother keeping it for dry days etc, Want to get my monies worth out of it
  6. If your a real enthusiast you should already have a corrado imo
  7. Indeed, if anything it will help stop people breaking them, there was a time when a decent corrado vr could be had for £3-4k and a heap for £1000-£1500, If the top corrados are now worth £10k+ (which people have paid) then the less cared for examples are maybe worth more then £1000 so people might decide to sell whole rather than break it. You could buy a £2k example, spend £6k on it and sell for over £10k. Got to remember the youngest corrados are now a 20-21yr old car and there aren't that many for sale anymore. Would people rather the prices stayed low forever? Poor little corrados must felt neglected and unloved if they don't start going up in value, what have they ever done wrong?
  8. Looking at the fuses, the rear wiper, front wiper and heater blower are all in a row next to each other, i hate working with the fuse box, I've had the harness connectors on the rear of it fall out most times i move it and undo the locking bit on the back
  9. I think i got some the last of the VW ones front and rear. Thinking i should take them off again and paint as the VW coating hasn't lasted very long
  10. I await the people who don't drive their cars buying a set and then a spare set to put on a shelf somewhere.
  11. I bought mine years ago, maybe 5yrs+ So would hope they got rid of the grooves. I haven't got the part numbers to hand but you could try vagcat
  12. They seem to have changed the design of these powerflex bushes, mine had 3 grooves in them, which let water in and rotted out the mounting point on my axle. You may want axle bolts and nuts to go with them.
  13. Found a cheaper one while looking on ebay today http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-Vw-Golf-Mk3-VR6-Engine-breather-valve-7M0128101-and-pipework-Volkswagen-/191943226345?hash=item2cb0b533e9:g:FDMAAOSwMtxXq6Ra
  14. From Urban Dictionary "A slang for sexual intercourse describing a penis as a candle wick and quickly inserting into any orifice for sexual release. The penis can be inserted into the mouth, anus or vagina."
  15. I've just tried to find out on google and am non the wiser
  16. I've only spent about 1.5hrs on it lastnight, not sure about it yet, might get boring quite quickly but pretty epic when you get into space and realise how massive it is
  17. Anyone playing this? Got it yesterday for the PS4.
  18. The one I've found isn't mint condition. I must have sold the good one already. I wouldn't fit the one I've got so I'll either bin it or list it on ebay as mint condition barn find cowling
  19. I'd fit an oil catch can to it, i wouldn't just bung the hole on the cam cover as i'm sure its meant to vent
  20. I fitted an oil catch can so it did away with all that plastic gumpf and the valve, made sense to get rid of the wiring too.

I bought a brand new 2.8 block and stealth are telling me its warped so not to use it again, a bit miffed with this, will see what he says when i ring him, will be taking the block back and having it all measured etc by an engineering company.

I may be after a 2.8 block with a crank, probably get it re-bored etc

I may be interested in that Vag=hag if for any reason simon doesn't want it. Whats the block like?
  24. I would have said its the wires for the PCV valve connector. Hard to tell. But they are a blank plug anyway on a UK VR so not needed. I've cut mine off.
