Nice to know UK and Poland can organise a trade deal
-
Was working in garage and a couple of chaps walked past and were stood at the top of driveway, could hear them saying "what is it?" "is it a delorean?" I didn't go and correct them as its a long driveway

Paid as well, [email protected]

Good stuff and good price, had mine on for about 8years and probably 70,000miles and its still in great condition.
-
I'll have a set, been meaning to get them for ages, but spending money elsewhere at the moment
-
Yeah the lower bit of the wings bolts upwards into the sill there, creates a bit of a dirt trap, one wing of mine was ok, the other was rusty and by the time i'd poked it a bit there was hole in it and the bottom edge needs a piece welded on.
-
I found its the bit behind the wing that rusts the worst, all the water from windscreen etc drains onto it You can see here what i mean

I bought the centre sections and also the front section which include the whole a-pillar, got them from VW heritage/VW classic parts. They come in from Germany. Think i still have one centre section spare that i don't need
-
No, the glass differs, most of the rest of the light is the same though (i think)
-
Noticed the Newent auto center sticker in the engine bay, i thought about phoning them to see what they have done with the car, but then realised i'm not considering buying it and just being an arse
-
Also, with the recent prices i wonder how many owner are now clocking their cars to sell them on, i know mine looked the same with 130,000miles on it
-
Something about it, i just don't like it, bad pics maybe, not cleaned very well. I reckon it may be worth the money after a proper enthusiast has had hold of it. Gear gaiter is annoying me as well

Waiting for parts for the audi now, so back onto corrado. Took one of the wings off again, never really finished it properly last time so rubbing down the lip of arch to do it properly. Inner wing all looked good still though.
-
I fitted the non-heated ones and just bundled the wiring up and hid it under the scuttle near the ecu. They can be pretty hard to remove.

Worrying (but tasty) mysterious noise on this mornings commute
Jim Bowen replied to MZpog's topic in General Car Chat
I had this once with a polo.... I let you think about that. -
I literally just spent nearly as much as the car is worth on it, fitting new turbo and some other bits, so felt i had to stick with it. Wishing i hadn't had the cambelt changed as it wasn't due for another 10-15k, i just thought 100,000miles was a nice round number to replace it at
-
Wasn't too happy with the tapping on the audi so had a look and found the reason why, i only drove it 20miles and thought it was too bad to just leave. Just above the spot of my blood  the little rollers on the rocker arms have snapped off, found two of them snapped and another two that need replacing Cams out to access them Got away lightly really, the timing had totally slipped, the belt wasn't even touching the cam sprockets

Apart from Stealth racing, what other places would people recommend? Anyone used amd essex?
-
Should be able to work it out from the head. The holes in block are all the same depth.

I wouldn't buy one, who looks at a first aid kit? I have this one that fits in the arm rest http://www.aspli.com/products/103/first-aid-kit-one-person.-travel-kit?gclid=Cj0KEQjwo5--BRCS8ceLjv-XppUBEiQAGp15ENNw317ZA2zLwVzJUA1gXeEEBJxfcwVDEuumajB1Wi0aAo988P8HAQ

Got home and tried it and seems ok, he had a test drive earlier, but I'll go out later this evening. I have only idled it and given it a quick rev and it now has top end tap (much like the famous vr6 tap). Feel quite lucky really. I was going slow and noticed something didn't feel right, i reckon it stalled just before the timing slipped.
-
The mechanic has been today to fit a new stud and new timing kit, not got home yet but i've had a message to say its good news and i've been lucky, so hoping i got away with it, won't hold my breath until i drive it though.
