Think i still have one of the looms with the OEM connectors, i never fitted mine.
-
Could never work them out, i decided it must be a lacquer, a bit like if you get a scratch and wet it, if it almost vanishes then you can polish it out.
-
Yeah, exactly that, it goes to a little blue purge valve mounted (i think thats the name) and then back into throttle body.
-
Its a breather line and normally runs to the charcoal cannister. Which some people seem to remove
-
There is only one fan motor, the other fan is just linked to the first with a belt. Could you try a 12v supply to the fan to check that.

Hi Jim, don't think i commented yet in your selling the corrado thread. How are you coping without the corrado? a bit of a shame, but i always took comfort in the fact we have the same name and i saw you corrado as a brother of mine, being a similar spec etc and the troubles you had and I've had with them. Kept me reassured i wasn't the only one.... Am sure once day I'll face the same dilemma about selling.

Just thought I'd enquire on the off chance, but has anyone got some of tge Schimmel 263's they might sell? Or any group buys for them in the pipeline? Not sure on the deal, does Vince at stealth get them in?
-
Its a balance weight and i think people do remove it, Doesn't even feature on the VR6

Nice one. Will have to get one. Genuinely excited about it. The noise has always bugged me. I've just this week fixed the bit of paint on them slam panel the bonnet stay has worn away.
-
And another little bonus. While searching the diagrams I noticed my bonnet stay doesn't have a rubber donut on it, which solves that weird rattle noise whenever i shut the door for the last 10yrs

Been looking through diagrams and think i found it. http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1959797 The blue photo model looks like it
-
I am stumped  It was in a box with the fusebox cover and the drivers side under dash shelf trim, may not be related though. I might have to start looking through all the parts diagrams to see if i can spot it.
-
Nah, i renewed them on mine so know its not them. Cheers for looking though mate.

Been out this evening in garage and looked at the boot trim. I seem to have two similar bits stuck on to stop parcel shelf rattling. They are a similar shape to the pic i posted, but the ones on tailgate don't have the speed hole. I have a feeling it may be from dash somewhere?
-
I could quite easily make a cad template/drawing of it if its useful
-
Not been much Cheese and ham talk for a while
-
 i thought the car felt faster, must have been the unintentional parcel shelf dampener delete
-
Does anything go through the hole?
-
Mine packed up once and all i needed to do was clean up all the mechanisms and grease them. They just got gunked up and the vac pump wouldn't move them.
-
Think everyone must be busy fixing corrados now the weather has warmed up a bit
-
Found it in my box of parts, normally quite good at this game, but can't remember this bit, i imagine it fell off rather than me removing it.
-
I might get rid of mine, its quite rusty now, just seems to trap dirt.

Mk2 golf fusebox clip is the same thing, am sure they are quite easy to get hold of.
