been happening alot recentely, when i unlock car with the remote fob, it beeps and every sounds as it should, but the door pins don't go up and doors remain locked. it has happened on both doors and the boot. i have to lock car and then unlock it, and it always works the 2nd time, am just worried that soon it won't at all. is there a pump that serves all the locks?

what are the two big uprights? is there anything on these that wears, a useful pic as i'm sure i have something knocking on my front end, could it be something there

couple with more effort i actually quite like the black rims, am not normally a fan of such mods, but looks alright

yeah i quite like them they are 16" off a fabia vrs, i need to do a better photoshop as they look too white

i was going to get chap to make a cabinet for me instead of buying one not sure what you mean about overpressurising? the filter in bottom of cabinet? or do you have one near the gun? for filtering the sand the cabinet we thought of is basically a box with large two screens of mesh (different sizes) and then a sloped bottom to a hole which goes back to gun

just noticed the ABS rings, i didn't know about this before :( do i need standard corrado VR ones? do they work with the golf calipers? i'm going to write a proper guide i think, always seem to be missing bits when i come to car, like my suspension greif i had :X

decided whilst cleaning my brakes up that i'm going to buy a sand blasting setup between me and a mate, and set it up in his workshop does anyone know much about what to get, what not to get? looking at a gun with a pick-up pipe rather than a hopper should be very useful as i'm always finding myself struggling with a wire brush etc also will be able to offer my services to other people :D

i think its become quite obvious that colour is down to personnal tastes, there is no best colour, or a most sought after, thats the reason for making lots of colours :lol: its all down to the buyer as to what is more sought after, but its blantent that the storm colours are the best :D

my roof has started making a weird noise & something around the centre tunnel area has started to creak as i pull away etc roof sounds worrying, could be some kind of cable slapping around?

i'm going to be doing this soon, decided that next week i'm going to take all the interior out and start putting it all back together nice and clean and try to solve some rattles, squeaks, groins and me driving along pushing bits of trim to see whats making the noise :lol:

yes! i do need to sell them on, i just been lazy at making a for sale thread. they were on car for about 500miles, and they are the -40mm springs not sure what to charge, they £110 delivered from europerformance, obviously i'd like as much back as i can i also have a set of the early springs plates, and a set of early top mounts all this stuff is nearly new

this is for a friends car, corrado vr6 too. he says the steering wheel wobbles up and down and that some pin is worn on the adjustable column? is this a simple fix, hopefully it doesn't require a whole new column

i'm hopefully refurbing mine myself. stripped them down so far, still got to clean them up a bit more,then i'll be painting them

i have some weitec VR springs sat in my garage, couldn't tell you about the spring rates, but i know they only fit the early style spring plate, which i'm told can be used with a late top mount.

the wheels on the 1st and 2nd cars, M15 VW etc, do they fit straight on rado's, i found a set in a guys workshop and could probably aquire them :)

i know, £75 each shocked me, and i probably didn't even need them. this is why i'm fed up now, spend £1400 now since reading this thread and something is still wrong, i fail to believe one of the best handling FWD cars should feel like mine. does anyone fancy test driving mine for me? :lol:

Funny you should say that mate when youve just changed your suspension. Ive just changed mine and notice little knocks under pedals since ive changed mine. Had a look and the tie rod boot has torn right open. Possibly that knocking on mine, but couldnt see anything else it could be. i've replaced all the tie rods, & ends (£75 a side) :! and the boots, new clips too. like i say i've put a lot into it recentely and pretty angry with car now as it still crap to drive, can't lose anyone thats behind me, the only time i like car is on a straight smooth road :(
