  1. not really, i wouldn't try too hard
  2. i'm thinking more over long term, especially where i work is a lot of dust from a woodwork shop that car sit every where on car.
  3. thats what i was kinda getting at, what does it really mean? does it mean every tom, dick and harry and dreamers who had a golf went to drive it and give it hell, or is it something that sits inside the showroom to be looked at? or like mentioned is a press car a totally different thing all together? its just something i hear a lot of people say in a chuffed kinda way, "yeah its an EX-DEMO"
  4. one thing i'd like to find out, is that in 1992/1993 i went to the motorshow at the NEC and took pics of a corrado on show, it was a VR and in classic green, just like the one i have now. but there is no way of finding out where that car is today :(
  5. true, i spose it wouldn't make a difference, it certainly didn't influence me when viewing car, i just cared about the interior which i could see was there
  6. thats something i have looked into, the micron rating of the filter materials. Oiled cotton is supposed to perform very well, better than foam If people can see daylight, then that doesn't bode well, i'll be throughly checking out any filter before i fit it.
  7. anyone fitted one of these? http://www.vroombox.com/vroombox/ click on videos on the top menu bar and watch the one with a civic
  8. when i bought my corrado the chap said it was an ex-demo car that why it had the optional extras, and the R32 he replaced it with was also ex-demo? does this affect the value of the car at all? is it looked upon as a plus point or a negative?
  9. yeah, i already have the K&N "recharge" kit
  10. i just guessing, as there isn't much else that moves on the rear i would of thought
  11. What do people think on here? good thing, bad thing, doesn't matter. i hear some say it can lead to problems with MAF and ISV sensors

    16v or vr6?

i must say the thing i like about my VR is being able to cruise around in 4th, take roundabouts in 4th and still pull away effortless up to 60mph again, plus you can floor it and still get up to 100mph plus (when on track for example) lazy speeding indeed
  13. right i saw the guy lastnight with a few questions and established its not blue or brown, but something called Larza (sp) green and has leather interior, and its a W-reg, he's sure its a storm again he said it just needs an engine, i'll be getting pics next week
  14. probably, it can look odd on some cars, i personnally like a bit of black on any car, i think its an important bit of the design i'm going to have mine painted black tho, instead of having them as plastic that fades and each piece a different shade of grey
  15. is there a phone number for these people? i've sent my cheque off and only got a week left now before i need my parts, can't get a response through email. how many corrados can be joining each month? surely not many i don't even know if i dated my check  whoops
  16. must admit i never even looked at any other models when considering a corrado, it was a corrado vr6 i wanted, didn't drive the g60 nor look into them. and the 16v wasn't what i wanted in a car performance wise. like already said your the best person to choose. how much power do you want if your tuning it? it
  17. i did think of the forum when he mentioned it, as i've not really got the knowledge/time/experience to do something like that. i'll keep you updated, and hope it turns out to be worthwhile.
  18. he's right though, they are
  19. well i'm going up there next week, so ill try and take some pics but tbh if he isn't fixing it up himself it must be quite a lot of work as he likes his dubs
  20. thats extremely nice indeed, just how i'd like mine, it really is a very nice colour that, the one i looked at before buying mine was that colour but i walked away :(
  21. someone mentioned they have a scirocco they need to get rid of and that it was a storm but needed an engine, i've no idea on the condition of anything else, but should be seeing it next week, he wants £150 for, but may take £100. i think it'll be quite tatty for that money, but who knows until i see it, it is worth saving?
  22. i didn't mean on here by the way, i just re read this at its sounded a bit bitchy
  23. i don't know the answer to your question but is this the VIS kit? same thing? about £265? i was thinking of getting one of these for my VR, but not sure if anyone has much experience with them on corrados?
