  1. thats how i look at it too, if all those bits had managed 130,000 miles than they should be fine for a while. i think i've spent just over £3k on it, but that includes everything, tyres, mot, services, gearknob, badges, literally everything
  2. they look good rob, a bit more classy and grown up than the other ones you had, although they did look nice. not sure about the red caliper tho, doesn't seem right to me

  9. i just worry  i don't want to break down too often and would hate for any damage to be done to engine for a silly reason like a hose/pump
  10. is the water pump on the left hand side of engine, where the belts are? that did sound a little noisy, slight squeak and a grind
  11. these can rules apply to any car really. could make a list of hated mods  putting an extra spoiler on a corrado, whats that all about? fitting bigger rims before lowering a car

  15. i think just 40mm would look alright on that. you may want more though, they do the Hicon GT, for £475, lowers from 40-70mm
  16. i ordered mine from Gwerks, they were very helpful and as good a price as everyone else, all came on time and i had no problems with anything http://www.g-werks.com/Site/ they aren't adjustable, depending on how much you spend. what year is your corrado, i should really read the top bit of this thread properly
  17. i got home from work and popped into a local garage and asked them they said fit hose, top water up, replace cap, start engine, heaters on, run till hot, switch off, cool down and refill if needed finished job, everything seems fine to me, the rear of engine sounds a bit hissy? but may of always done that, its a thing that looks like a black shampoo bottle lid here is the culprit is this a common thing to happen? am a bit concerned that something else led to the pipe bursting?
  18. so fit hose, fill with water, leave cap off, start engine, top up as needed, refit cap? i plan to do this tonight as got my hose now
  19. i think when mine had a problem it just won't start, but turned over not sure, it was the previous owner that encountered that
  20. i'm going to wear two pair of socks and an extra t-shirt
