its ok i didn't read it properly, says with NON original exhausts whoops
-
did you have any probs with this as mentioned on the site? "When fitting rear Anti Roll Bars together with non OE exhaust systems fitting problems might arise. A contact between Anti Roll Bar and exhaust is possible. This has to be checked prior to fitment and solved prior to first driving."
-
i think thats what i'm going to do now, as soon as i have all the bits i need. hopefully i won't need a new rack i';ve joined CCGB to get discount from the dealers as i'm buying so much.
-
yet another question i'm getting either one of the suspension kits now, i notice that weitec stuff has separate options for vr6, 16v, g60, etc but the KW stuff seems to be one kit fits all type affair do i need any other things? i keep hearing about people using earlier top mounts? spring caps or something like that?
-
is it worth buying the weitec kit for £290ish instead of the KW equivilant for £340ish? is there any known difference in them?
-
are weitec ones ok? i'm ordering loads of bit from europerformance and thats the only one they sell on its own
-
i'm just about to buy an upgraded rear one, and just renew the standard front one, as 150,000 of twisting must of lead to some fatigue
-
i nearly bid on it too, but wasn't sure if it would fit a late VR i'm sure it'll be easy to sell on
-
Few more pics of the car.. "the driveway conversion car made 442bhp and 404lb/ft. it ran a 12.3 at 125.9mph," then i gather it died, and is now being rebuilt

Great thread, very handy, thanks

is the steering rack separate from the column and is it a big job to do?
-
they really suit the style of the car, i like it, quite a nice change to the usual euro, oem+ stlying 8)

Don't believe everything your dad tells you, soon he'll start making up stories about how a chap comes down the chimney at xmas = lies, tooth fairy = lies
-
i saw this on ebay as well
-
found this on car, and not sure how long its been like that, would this of led to dodgy steering? am about to replace a whole load of stuff, and wondered if what it protects may need replacing?
-
where do you guys buy all these bits? especially VW related tools?
-
a big spray can that costs silly amounts, iirc i think when i used it, the car hadn't got many miles, so was just me wasting my money, was quite a few years ago. i certainly didn't notice anything coming out of exhaust like it said
-
lol i know it tilts ok, just seen pics of big scratches on the roof when they jam, so never attempted it
-
i doubt the garage i use do that  whats the worst that can happen if i try to open it?
-
i'm just going to not order the camber kit, then see if i need it once car is lowered i think
-
certainly WOW, looks very very nice 8) keep it up!!!

digging this thread up again, as i'm about to try changing suspension myself. was about to buy these bits 14mm spark plug socket 7mm brake allen key 7mm Sykes allen key 22mm drop ring spanner already got springs compressors, will i need anything else? its a 1995 VR, and i'm changing suspension all round, top mounts all round, ball joints, and as many bushes as i can.
-
i had some once, not for my corrado, but i took air filter off, and used a long straw on the can and sprayed it up the air pipe, the straw went past the air flow meter. didn't make bugger all difference to the car tho
-
i bought my corrado, asked if the sunroof worked and was told its 100% fine, but i'm too worried to try, so a year later and i've never opened it  might be a bad thing now i think about it, would it of seized up do you think?
