if standard setup would say yeah potential problem. mine was up at 160 because my thermostat switch thing, fan switch and water pump were on there way out so cooling system wasnt working properly also lead to pressure problems.happily all fixed now. -

saw a dark rado in pontyclun this morn around 10ish think it was a g60. flashed and waved to me, gave a flash back, anyone from here? -
first owner could have got the optional extra leather or something instead of full size spare.i've got a space saver from a mk4 polo and got a tyre on it to match radius.now need the carpet.

managed to leave my car in gear in a car park.started engine and car shot into the back of a 4x4.mate was pissing himself i feared the worst. was lucky as it had a tow bar which just knocked against my number plate.phew. -

my 16v had the accelerator pedal rubber thing.all it is, is a plastic cover that kind of clips/slides on. not worth getting better investing in some tt pedal rubers.got mine from vag parts and they look the part.

why didnt anyone post this up before had loads of problems of airblocks in my valver.doh! all fixed now though.

corrado club of canada has a download section with nearly all of the brochures to view...even in german and spanish.

well i normally use 97 unleaded tho some garages only do poverty spec 95 stuff so have to use that.just the actual brochure said use leaded not unleaded.

have always been recommended that i use super unleaded on my 16v,however......in the Corrado brochure it states to use leaded 95ron fuel. :? am i missing something here?

have had the Scirocco cack off people,another twit that thought volkswagen were american as Corrado is an american word apparently.lol most common i get is 'its a Colorado you drive aint it?' lol poor dumb buggers.

i had to run my car on morris univeral stuff today and its gone bang again.well its overheating and pissing coolant everywhere. could it be due to this and not having g12 which is normally in it?

right these clips whats the easiest way of getting them on? a i cant for the buggery of life get them to clip on properly.am i right that the little bit goes in the slot and the bigger bit clips over the cable?

once had mine at 160 degrees when my cooling system was up the creek. -
managed to get one! well 3 in total.they had to get them from another dealer and will be here tues. recommend sinclair vw in bridgend for anyone down that way.looked quite interested in my corrado pitched up in the middle of there forecourt amongst the new school cars.

need 2 of the clips that hold the cables on for the slider mechanism on my C. been told through a specialist and also at gsf that they are available at dealers. would these need to be ordered or would they hopefully just have them in there parts bin seen as its basically a 10p clip?

anyone know how to check the connections are working on this? as i think i might have loosened or broke something when changing matrix.

seen this on a valver and wasnt impressed, had to pump the accelerator to start it or some cack then it just floods the engine, dont know if it was a dodgy install but didnt seem that great.

hmmm ok, want something that would almost look standard.

you dont have to take out entire dash just passenger and driver trim plus glovebox.me and a mate did it in 2-3hrs.easy when you get into it. going to have to do mine again as it blew within a day due to pressure problem in the cooling system.

i've got a 1.8 16v 1990 model.which size manifold would if have come with 42mm or 50mm.am i right that the 50mm was on the 2 litre? also what difference would it make if ig to put a 50mm on if mine is a 42mm?
