ardandy, probably not meant to do anything but they put a fake button there to fill the space. What else would have gone there..?
-
That's normally the button you press to stop things breaking. ;)

Spanish for 'Sprint' :)

Purchased some spring lowering caps for my VR tonight from venom. My ride isn't quite low enough for my liking and I think the extra 1cm will make all the difference, only problem is I don't know how to fit them... So has anyone fitted spring caps? How do I do it and what tools/equipment do I need? If someone could provide me with enough info on how to do it i'll then have a go and produce a Wiki article for others to follow in my path. Thanks :)

Andy's one, looks pretty good IMO..
-
Coxy, how much extra work is required to fit the R32 compared to a 2.8 24v? Are they similar jobs?
-
I think it will only look ok with the eyebrow done as well...
-
I intend to change mine once a year from now on, it's an easy cheap job that's worth doing IMO.
-
Mine have exactly the same amount of coats of paint and lacquer, but red. Have you tried the green bulbs before then?
-
timg60, that means you can smoke whilst polishing. ;)
-
Need to sort out some green bulbs for mine as they are flashing red at the moment... :?
-
dinkus' one was pretty bad as well... (mine looked something like that as well)
-
Shizzle mate, hope you get this sorted - Really want to see this car on the rollers! :)
-
Wow that's very cheap indeed. Because you've got all those years NC discount. My insurance is almost twice that but it is a modified vehicle... :norty:

Yeh my mum unfortunately drives a Land Rover Defender td5, she does live down the bumpiest, steepest lane in the world that has already killed 2 cars though. Needless to say the C goes no wher near it!

Looks great! Washer nozzles? Or were they always gone? Number plate?!
-
I reckon my wheels were a bit worse than that and they are perfect now, so yes IMO.
-
Ouch... You should change your sig to 'Lowered 50mm/300mm' :)
-
Should probably add that I used Savage spray on gradeAfailure's recommendation! http://www.the-corrado.net/wiki/images/ ... he_Car.JPG

Wiki Article. Do it, for peace of mind and just because it only costs about a tenner it's worth it. Also if it's really lagged it might be putting strain on your fuel pump.
-
KADVR6, I highly reccommend the 'Savage' tinting spray available from http://www.speeding.co.uk , I used it on my lights: Wiki Article.

The search is your friend. LOADS of results for sidestrip removal... http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=29962& http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=15144& http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=32090&

iow_corrado_g60, stick with the ones you've got IMO! I think the crystal ones look best on a white C.. :)
-
That's a good point, a refurb'd set might not add £300 to the value of the car but it might mean the first person to look at the car buys it and wants to knock you down less!

I know its not like having the original but a couple of coats of black tinting spray and it'd be nice and smoked..?!
