  1. LOL - Walesy drove my VR today... :) I like G's as well, once that charger spools up it's full steam ahead! Yet to try a valver...
  2. One picture (paints two words) There's no definitive answer because opinion will always be divided on the subject. I like my VR6 because it's nice 'n smooth. It realy is down to personal preference though.
  3. And on a VR a 36mm socket takes the filter off. Try a search, there is a thread with loads of pictures on how to do it somewhere. Should really update the wiki article as it has no pics at all.
  4. LOL heating the gargae to keep your C warm?! that's comitment! I put a load of carpet on the wall today to stop my door banging.
  5. Not had a day like that with my C as of yet but I know the feeling mate! Like CorradoVR6-n.o.s said, keep at it, have another go next week and you might find it all just fits into place.
  6. Don't know about other models but i've never found it neccessary to jack the car up when changing oil/filter, mine is slightly lowered.
  7. Brefords one could be soooo good though and if properly 'sorted' would be as good a piece of Corrado history as any!
  8. THey get my vote, bit like RH ZW1's but a bit better IMO because of the staright lines...
  9. Weapon of choice for the VR6 (without going down the coilover route) is usually the Koni top adjustable shocks matched with H&R springs. I use them and they are great! Also try a search as it's a subject that has been covered a lot in the past.
  10. Suprisingly the official specs actually state 10.2 seconds. http://www.the-corrado.net/wiki/index.p ... _-_2.0_16v (1.8 16v is listed as 8.7sec... :?) amdmad, make sure you check out the CF.net Buying Guide & Welcome to the Forum! :)
  11. Yeh that's the one, i've seen it.

    ECU Blown

Go OBD2 :) My ECU is not right it overfuels the car slightly and stalls a bit, so i'm changing to OBD2. Will sell you my not quite right ECU in a few weeks cheap if ya like?!
  13. Agreed, try and sell them for a bit as they are. Someone might want them as a spare set of winter wheels.
  14. Not a Balerno or however you spell it. Thanks biggrim, Yeh number plate is knackered, time to get a new one definately! No more clues, the answer is... Suzuki Wagon R !!! Thought they were pretty common, they are round here. All the old folks use them because you don't have to bend to get in them!
  15. veedub-g60, is that the turbo one?
  16. Walesy, close, think slightly bigger i.e. old men, dodgy hip. ;) 16v aye, they come up pretty shiny eh?
  17. Fraid not, they manufacture motorbikes as well...
  18. I'll be doing this in the not so distant future as well. Is it worth it/acceptable to fit larger discs on the back?
  19. Yep, I will third it. Nice blokes, i've hung around there for a few hours on a couple of occasions. :)
  20. iow_corrado_g60, thanks :) markp, afraid not, keep trying.
  21. This is obviously harder than I thought it would be! :) Not a pug. Chris was right with the Jap theme... It is blue. Not a sporty car.. oh no.
  22. No, but you're in the right part of the world!
  23. Thanks :) Ah ok, might aquire some of that tomorrow in that case. Not a Vectra i'm afraid, think old people...
  24. Crunchy or smooth?! :) Yeh I did lacquer the top and bottom. It came out a little orange peely actually so i'm thinking about getting some more and rubbing them down with a little 1200 wet and dry before. Are they old ones? It's the same as logo in the corner of the screen...?
