Swweeeet. Love this car, seems to be very few people with that colour which is strange as it looks very nice. -
Doesn't the C (Or VR6?) come with a front ARB fitted standard? iow_corrado_g60, depends what you want, if you want less roll get a rear/front ARB or both (prices will be for one unless stated). Strut brace will make the car feel more solid and you might loose a few creeks as well.

Nice, nice, nice. I want one! :)

Yeh strut braces and ARBs are completely different things. Strut braces help to hold the rigidity of the vehicle. ARBs are a clevely bent piece of metal connecting the suspension on each side, when going round a corner the bar bends and transfers some of the 'roll energy' of the car onto the side of the other side of the car, keeping the car 'flatterl round bends.... not a great explanation but you get the idea! :) Not to be confused with roll cages!

Welcome to the forum. It's a good question actually as most people are usually after a VR or G60. I haven't driven both the valvers so can't really comment much but I would say take a look at The CF.NET Corrado Buying Guide & Checklist before handing any cash over! I would also say go for a C over a goof! There's a reason for the big choice of golfs, Corrados are much more exclusive!

Distortion could be coming from your old head unit struggling to power your new speakers. If you want to resize a picture use MS Paint or a photo editing program.

I was on standard and thought it was pretty good unitl I got my above setup. A lot less bouncy now, there used to be quite a bit of roll around the tight corners.
-
Good Idea, I've got Koni TA/H&R springs as well on 15's. Lowered 30-40mm. I think they are a great setup, really responsive when needed, have a much better overall feel of the road. Can be a little crashy over bad bumps. I go over speed humps daily and have no problem with them at all, car always feels nice and solid when I go over the humps. I've found since getting this kit fitted that I can go twice as fast round roundabouts! Only complaint is i'd like to be another 10-20mm lower.. EDIT: Oooh and could you capitalise the S, D & T in the thread title please? Looks better IMO :D

You do it on humans??! ;)

I had another go at lacquering my rear lights last night as they came out a bit orange peely the last time, learnt from my mistakes and it came out really well this time. Moral of the story is, practice. Let us know if you get good, you could offer cheap resprays to CF members!

^^ Everything chrishill said. Except I don't like smooth bumpers either. Lee, yours is better.

Thanks for the info Talc, obviously caps are the way forward as your height is just right. Although I think my rear Koni is on the middle notch :?
-
I reckon a darker colour would look better on a lighter coloured C and vica versa.
-
That doesn't sound like to bad a price IMHO. :)
-
Nice. :) Looks like a load of scafolding! s it AWD?

We do already have a small thread covering this subject: The Supercharged VR6 Thread. Also I have no experience of insurance in the States but I would imagine it's going to be a lot for a FI VR6 when you're 17...
-
I reckon it's lowered about 50-60mm all round.
-
Yeh it's a good point. Would like mine slightly lower though like Talc's, his speedies seem to be fitting the arches perfectly. I am appreciating the speedlines more and more at the mo :) Walesy... have you got any experience fitting lowering caps... ;)
-
Ah ya bugger! Glad you enjoyed the drive, was nice to have a second opinion from someone who knows their rados. I'll let you have another go once i've got the OBD2 up and running... :)
-
Very nice looking pictures, what suspension are you running, ride height looks just right. Is it Sotrm Grey?
-
*Awaits the haywire's for sale thread* :)
-
Sounds pretty good to me, especially because your GF is on a provisional!
-
Replicas can often weigh quite a lot and really mess up your handling, they are cheap for a reason! But, because they're cheap it may be worth buying them and giving it a go? Just don't tell anyone! :)

I think there was an R32 on the bay not too long ago that went for £1400 and there weren't that many miles on it either. Not sure how much extra work is involved over fitting a 2.8 24v, would be interested to know though...
